OK, so I have some news to share with you. Today, April 22nd, is my last day at SAY Media. Including 2 years at SAKK and 4 years at Six Apart headquarters in 548 4th street, this has been an incredible venture and terrific experience for me to work with all of smart people on numerous exciting projects, but I figured it's time to move on. I should have a lot to write, but instead i'll dump some memorable pictures :) Man, that's a lot of memories. I'll send everyone a big hug and thank you for making my days at Six Apart/SAY so much fun! P.S. I'll take a quick vacation next week, and will start a new gig... Continue »

It's been awhile since I've had a chance to write a corp dev centric post but I couldn't keep quiet after reading this TechCrunch tidbit: On his Diggnation web show this week, Digg founder Kevin Rose said that Yahoo contacted Digg to see if the company would be interested in taking over Delicious prior to when an internal slide leaked indicating Yahoo wanted to get rid if it and before the December layoffs (which would put the time period at early December/late November). Kevin, you know I love you but you won't get those calls anymore if you keep announcing... Continue »

As a last update before our annual holiday card gets posted, finally, I am ready to share that we're expecting Tesla's little sister in May!!! We are thrilled to bits. I am already almost 5 months, and would have shared earlier, but had some reasons. One was I had a miscarriage earlier. I actually had an "empty sac" before that, meaning my body thought I was pregnant, but there was no fetus (did you know this happens 25% of the time?!) It was mighty deceiving, as I felt pregnant immediately. That passed quickly, and I was actually rather ok with... Continue »
