Sun News Network is about the only news network I watch in Canada now. The programs and commentators of Sun News are are awesome compared to CBC and CTV which are so Liberal bent they don't even report news stories anymore. I also follow Fox online in the U.S. which is definitely better than CNN, ABC, etc. The sad fact is that Canadians are forced to fund the CBC to the tune of approx. $1 billion a year in Canada which needs to stop. Hopefully, the Conservative majority gov't in Canada now will be able to do something about this in the next four years as they plan to do some budget cutting. Not too many people would miss CBC that's for sure.

How about that - equality for women in Islam finally starting to take hold but only when you are willing to blow yourself up, otherwise you are just a baby factory to produce more little jihadists.

Well, it's a start, but much more could be done by U.S. and EU gov'ts. Harper has never been a big fan of the UN but unfortunately, Canada does not have that much clout. Now, if only Harper would do something about curtailing the Human Rights Commissions (thought police) which are clearly abusing their authority against freedom of speech, writing etc.
