Use a pair of tweezers to pull the wick up through the top.

You can use a cotton shoelace or cut a cotton wick length wise to fit the opening. Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Thank You! I just took a regular cotton wick and cut the width to about a 1/4" You can even use a cotton shoelace:) Carol
