There's one quirk in Missouri's Presidential season that you may want to take into account. Missouri has a non-binding Presidential Primary on February 7th. That primary does not feature Newt Gingrich on the ballot, because it doesn't actually count. Missouri has a binding caucus on March 17th. So perhaps the polling could be caucus and/or overall support, and maybe something to see what happens in the non-binding primary which doesn't have Gingrich on the ballot (not sure if 2nd choice could quite cover the question, maybe just asking the same question again but not listing Gingrich but listing "Uncommitted" or something) In all likelyhood, the Caucuses will not be heated, but the primary may have a turnout because the primaries may not be over in 2 weeks. Maybe some generic polling asking if voters support the Democrat or Republican in state house races. Or something as a "Dems or Republicans" baseline. I'm not sure the hottest issues in the General Assembly are very pollable. Although there are some threats of a Right-to-Work amendment in Missouri, so that sort of thing could be tested in Missouri AND Ohio for consistency. Misc questions: the usual sports team things. Although the Broncos could be added to the Football team list at the expense of Titans or Colts. Perhaps a favorite college question (Mizzou, Missouri State, UMKC, University of Central MO, Northwest MO, MO Western, Truman State, and.. the University of Kansas, just because). Or just a "do you approve/disapprove of Mizzou going to the SEC" question" if the supremacy of Mizzou in our hearts is unchallenged.
Montana Governor candidates from what I could find Dems: Attorney General Steve Bullock and St. Senator Larry Jent Reps: State Sen. Jeff Essmann, retired CEO Bob Fanning, former Congressman Rick Hill, anti-terrorism consultant Neil Livingstone, ex-state Transportation director Jim Lynch, ex-State Sen. Ken Miller, County Commissioner Jim O'Hara, ex-State Sen. Corey Stapleton and real estate investor Drew Turiano So not sure how narrow a field you can make it for H2H. Livingstone and O'Hara have spent some money, for example. The newest candidates as Essmann/Fanning/Lynch/Turiano. Florida... maybe a question on if they think their presidential primary will be meaningful to picking the nominee (there's a shot it crowns/dooms Romney, but a shot that Romney wins so much pre-FL that FL is kinda irrelevant).
I'd add the Phillies (Victorino) on the favorite MLB team list for Hawaii. And the Steelers for the favorite NFL team in Ohio, since the Browns/Steelers boundary is actually in Ohio. Will the birther question in Hawaii remain "Do you think Barack Obama was born in the United States?" or will it be "Do you think Barack Obama was born in Hawaii?"
