OMG! This is amazing. Did I miss the location for this new home? I'm so looking forward to the rehab photos. Congratulations on going for your dream. Love the idea of it all. Okay, now I'm off to read some of your other posts that I've missed. The problem with BLOGLOVIN' is that I don't see ALL the posts of the blogs I like to follow. So, I'm saying goodby to BLOGLOVIN' and following blogs individually. Take care, Marrianna

This is beautiful. I started following your blog several months ago. I love your use of fabrics, your altered books, etc. In fact, I actually started a cloth book but haven't finished it. It sits on the work table and doesn't get my attention. I think the fact that you used fabrics to make a book that was about the fabrics was inspiring to me. Thanks for everything you offer on your blog. You are an inspiration. Blessings, Marrianna in Flagstaff AZ USA

I found a great vintage typewriter at our Goodwill Weigh & Pay yesterday. It works perfectly and the ribbon still has some ink in it. All for $6 - hard to believe. The keys don't stick or anything. I'm doing... Continue reading

Practice helps to move toward perfection. Maybe I won't reach the level of perfection in my photography and image editing that I am striving for; however, the process is very entertaining. Here's another layer image w/a textured background from the... Continue reading

Played with another Kim Klassen texture. Used an older Christmas Cactus flower. Still have lots to learn. Adobe PhotoShop is a powerful piece of software and I've only touched on a tiny portion of the possibilities. Learning tips and tricks... Continue reading

Absolutely fantastic. I'm new to Kim Klassen's BEYOND LAYERS II and learning so much about layers and blending modes. You did a wonderful job of making the flowers really pop off the page. Congratulations.
