Twitter: Looking For Larry (looking4larry)
Larry Schnackenberg's (the missing man) car was found in Shawnee Mission Park. Greg & Missy Smith and their Kelsey's Army conducted a major search of the park on Friday and Saturday. Few searches around the country are able to pull together the number of volunteer searchers that the Smith's were able to accomplish. Their efforts were truly heroic and for me it was amazing to be a part of such a well organized search. Larry was not found.

From Meredith Rodriguez: Bill Ray Knight has not been seen since May 22. He left behind his cell phone, dog and dentures. Police today asked for the public’s help in finding the 57-year-old Belton man and his white Buick Park Avenue. It was a 1992 model with a bent antenna, his family said in a...
As an advocate for the families of the missing and an administrator on Peace4 the Missing (http://peace4missing.ning.com) I have watched NamUs.gov come into being. So happy for Paula Davis' family that they now have answers thanks to The Forgotten and NamUs.gov.
There is an important law that will make NamUs.gov the powerful tool it is intended to be. HR 3695 Help Find the Missing Act passed through the House last week. So now is the time for everyone to call their Senators and ask them to support this law. In the subcommittee hearing the head of the subcommitte called it "extraordinary legislation" and it is! There are 100,000 people missing in the US alone and over 40,000 unidentified remains, with this legislation more families will receive answers. Can you imagine not knowing where you love one is for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month? ... many families go decades, or a lifetime without answers. With your help the families will have a chance at getting an answer quicker than ever before. Call your Senators!

"While the online National Missing and Unidentified Persons System [NamUs]contains information on 2,856 missing people and 6,241 unidentified remains for public use, it doesn't include thousands of FBI records. Compounding the problem, authorities are required to report missing people under age 21, but not missing adults."
