"It is unclear why Jordan is not eligible..." It is not 'unclear' it is unknown by the media. It is completely known by Jordan, Jordan's agent, the Dolphins organization, the NFL and NFLPA. Do your job. GO fined out.

EXCELLENT, AS. as Armando undoubtedly already knows, I'm not convinced Wallace (esp) , Hartline, Clay and Gibson NOR, most importantly, Bill Lazor are behind Tannehill...come what may. Also, know Hickey and Asst GM not REALLY Philbin fans. The kid doesn't have it. But, they're giving him the rope to hang himself. Philbin is clearly marginalized. But, Jake Locker is still playing (horribly). RT is inherently inaccurate as is Locker - - it can't be fixed Reading lips watching body language, there is some critical 'thinking' (and talking) on sidelines. He gets through London.... no improvement I think that's it after the bye. Not a huge FB (or it's other entities, like Instagram) fan, but I understand the reality of (ad) revenue. This is how many sites including mother Russia...NFL. COM operate. So, people complaining are spitting in the wind.

First...and my conclusion is, Ross: "Walk left side, safe. Walk right side, safe. Walk middle, sooner or later get squish just like grape."

Idiot\\\Poyer was passed over by several teams who drafted lower graded CBs. some much lower than Davis. Poyer can't tackle, benched 8 X hance falling. Again, I urge the chronically ill-informed (no-trolls) to do some basic research on where these players are graded in aggregate and not rely on a slurred comment from Mayock or Fired Gruden.

Dashi: Agreed on CBs and Coyle's stamp. You mean R. Marshall tho...

Is the 'I'm the best' Dansby still on the streets?

Bess was in contract year and pissed off coaches by mystery back problem last 3 games. 2.6 mil owed. They got what they could admittedly not much...and replaced with Gibso, Thigpen, Rishard Matthews and possibly Swope tomorrow.

Bills pick EJ Manual with a 68.7 grade (4th rd.) in the 1st. Jets waste 2nd rd. pick on Geno Smith to team with Sanchez (who they can't cut), Tebow and David Garrard. And, he's horrible. How can you no-nothings possibly complain about 93, 86 and 83 grade picks 1,2,3 in positions of need? Great value. Maybe Dion Jordan over Lane Johnson is debatable but that's it. A-

Mayock is a drunk. Pats safety picked ahead of Davis in the 3rd he considered a FA.

Give NOTHING today to this windbag John Dorsey. He's leaking like a sieve to the hacks for weeks, and, recently, even desperate enough to be quoted. Ireland is smiling saying it's 'going nowhere fellas'...I hope Ireland continues to tell them to pound sand. t's a zone scheme. Long couldn't move laterally. Grossly overpaid. RT17 rolling right 30% of the time. Let see if in fact Martin got stronger, let's see where Yeatman is at RT. Let's see what they draft. Run the no huddle, hi tempo,, cut block wear out the defenses with more weapons.

Absolutely. Incredible value! Of course, Mayock was so flabbergasted he was wrong again ('gotta be Lane Johnson')...he missed how Ireland basically robbed Raiders. Michael Irvin had to point it out after a break.

Clearly, the right decision by Dolphins and Long. Rams...not so much. To those advocating Dumervil: Forget it, he's not a Philbin type. Not even close. Lots of off the field baggage including last Summer in South Miami Beach. Me over team guy. Injury prone. Too expensive. You think Long was in it for the money only... Winston (or Vollmer - unlikely) and a CB. Extend Reshad Jones possibly and that's it for Free Agency 2013.

'Hovereing' close to 8 mil. seems high and certainly not 20 mill guaranteed. He was ranked 47th of 75 always playing injured and in decline. Moreover, NOT a good fit for zone blocking. Easily replaced and cap money better spent elsewhere.

Someone explain to this pinhead DIVA they have state income taxes in Minnesota, it's freezing in season and they play outdoors. We should make this guy a take it or leave it offer.

30 mil is too much for 8 TDs. Sht, Fasano had 5. Jackson didn't produce for the Bucs and neither has Bowe relative to $$. These are desperate teams......reaching. I say: too bad, so sad Mr. Mike Wallace. You get 20mil guaranteed + no state taxes, sun and a back loaded contract. Or, enjoy Minnesota...OUTDOORS. With Percy H 'legacy'.

NEVER throw a ball below the shoulder or throw to receiver below the waist -- Bill Walsh Tannehill does both repeatedly. Fix it Sherm and son in law of Sherm

Pennington says Tannehill needs to vary throwing motion in 3 step. Tipped Balls = CORRECTABLE Dilfer says predictable play-calling/coaching is cause = NOT CORRECTABLE by TANNEHILL. Who to believe? Trent 'Derp' Dilfer most known for handing ball off in SB, and throwing only when absolutely necessary because he had a 50-50 chance of falling down or a pick 6. OR, Chadwick Pennington. Struggled to throw ball 40 yds. Made of glass. Yet, the MOST accurate QB in NFL history. Should have been 2008 MVP and 2 time come back player award.

McDaniel is a giant statue with a beard...ever since he cut his hair. Done = Too Tall Insurance Salesman. Note to Sherm: Change Snap Count from one JJ Watt memorized. Wait...Raiders?...leave it the same.

What? MM is not immobile in comparison to all other NFL QBs. Those who conclude that either a. didn't watch his play last season or b. don't understand NFL football. 2011, he made plays by eluding the rush and throwing on the run unlike Henne -- who often took the sack and WAS immobile...robit-like MM's problem now is adapting to this version of the WC offense. Tannehill has a knowledge-based head start and may never relinquish it, but it isn't because of mobility. It's because of quick decision making, accuracy and (potentially) overall talent.

F that fat tub of GOO, Peter King. Who cares what he and Florio make up. They'll be on to the next 'thing' soon enough in the next news cycle. They passed on Flynn . Good. Philbin would know. The Seahawks are guessing on 2 Wynn Flynn. And, everyone else passed too. Manning at $90 million. Please. He's 35 and one sack away from retirement. The only mistakes they made are talking to either player and publically promising a 'splash'. They knew Flynn's contract demands before flying him in. Manning was always a non-starter. Why bother? IF they sign Smith at $7-8 million fine. Otherwise, pass on that 'splash' too. Just go with Matty and draft a QB next year. Tannehill is a ridiculous reach. Sherman knows that. Weedon is old. Just forget change at starting QB this year unless Smith is available. And, Brandon Marshall is a LOSER. Good riddance.

AS -- what is your glitch? It's like your trying to transition into a Florio (b4 NBC)/Drudge wannabe. Not saying your kicking puppies...but stirring the pot in a morally contemptible way. Have some decency for Philbin. Your blog was really over the line. Ireland called you on your your BS. Good for him. Hopefully, Philbin hires Edgar Bennett as OC and Kevin Greene as DC...you won't mess with THOSE 2.

AS did you interview McCoy on the record? If so, what a snarky, sore loser. CLEARLY, Philbin is more articulate and experienced. I'm with you 'Kris', who wants a guy who speculates with a serial pot stirrer like AS?

Henne? He lacks virtually every quality required in a WC QB: Precise accuracy, touch, ability to choose from as many as 5 receivers and be able to run...often. Not occasionally -- for his life -- because he can only choose b/t 2 receivers. Rodgers avgs. about 300yds. rushing. So....Henne is toast as a Dolphin. If anything, Pat Devlin fits mold better as WC QB behind MM and, hopefully, Flynn.

"He is a favorite of Jerry Jones, so that says something very good for him because Jones knows coaching talent" Evidence: Jimmy (ok, that's one) Barry Switzer Dave Campo Chan Gailey Old Tuna Fat Wade Jason Garrett (really bad) Since Switzer's 1st year, 2 playoff wins in 15 years. TWO!

"Jeff Ireland currently is making no friends in league circles" And, he'll make up for that by interviewing Dez's mother to satisfy the 'Rooney Rule'.
