The edit function got messed up, as others have already pointed out. Today I'm getting a heading above the composing box that says "Text Editing Tools" and a garbled bunch of letters -- no way to find the link chain, make sense of the fonts, and so on. This last happened to me a month ago. When it works, it works well; when it doesn't, it's a frustrating waste of time.
