Sci-Fi... syfy... by any name a network that has always screwed it's fans. Farscape? Weird quirky show with a small but fanatical fanbase chock full of that magic 18-35 demo of college educated men and women (yes, women that liked their space show) cancelled by sci-fi because... an executive didn't like space shows. Let me say that again. An executive at SCI-FI didn't like space shows! Flash forward a few years and they cancel Caprica and Eureka and SG:1 when it looked like it might have some life it in with new cast injections and SG: Universe which while a tepid BSG attitude and a Voyager retread story line was, like Caprica, slowly finding it's way... Too bad. syfy needs bad copies of Brit shows about vampires and werewolves living in a flat downtown Real World style and a multi year deal with WWE wrestling (although looking at it every now and then I'm convinced it's from another world). At least maybe now they can afford a sequel to Sharktopus!

Well ok. I'll visit your arcade if you get it running... as long as there is no air hockey game. There are always big kids with feathered hair hanging out around those things... They scare me.

No, it's not. That's the impressive thing. It takes the results of Yesterday's Enterprise about a time paradox that results in Tasha's kid from that episode being a Romulan in the regular show's 'timeline' in later episodes and adds a second paradox where that doesn't happen. Pr0n guys they may be, but true geeks wrote that thing. *EDIT* Can you believe that 'Romulan" is not in the Firefox default dictionary? Pathetic!

Hey Wil- So I remember reading in one of your books (thanks for signing JAG in SF a couple months ago, btw) that as time has gone on you have begun to see yourself as a writer who sometimes acts. In the last year or two it seems that it has evened out quite a bit with the several guest shots you did on television and now a couple of recurring roles and the traveling to live events... are you now just this guy that does stuff or do you still identify yourself as an actor or a writer? Seems to me your are both... but without a qualifier showing one bigger than the other. HOw do you see it?

Jesus Christ, people. The man doesn't want to get your creeping crud so he won't do any PDA. "Suck it up" as some dope said above... but he should have been looking in the mirror. Wil isn't charging you anything for anything unless you want to buy one of his books. Having met him a couple of times at non-trek events I can assure you that he is approachable, happy to take a pic with you and exchange a few words and sign something (at the appropriate time, of course, if you get barked at interrupting a game, meal or conversation you deserve to get slapped down, but he's probably too much of a gentleman to put the smackdown down as hard as you might deserve). Now... I specified non-trek events as I'd have a little sympathy for the "You owe us" attitude at a Creation con or some such since they have become such money sucking rackets limiting what can be signed, charging for sigs and sometimes for the signature materials. But at a game con where the man is there to throw dice and mingle with fellow gamers? Sorry, but again "suck it up."
