Hi Betty, Thank you for the visit today. Daniel is our last child to graduate from college. He is our bonus child and he was born when our first two were in college. Our daughter also graduated from the University of California at Irvine about 20 years ago along with her husband. UCI holds a special place in my heart and also my checkbook!. As for now, Daniel is taking a break from school and plans to attend graduate school. Hugs, Mary Jane

Hi Everyone, Our visit this past weekend to our vacation house in Cambria was a mix of fun, drought fear, and lastly relief. Each October Cambria streets run wild with unusual scarecrows. These are not the typical looking kind as in the wizard of Oz. Anyone who lives in the... Continue reading

Hi Corey, I've been enjoying your blog for a very long time and want to say thank you for your wonderful insights. Illness when it strikes down a loved one is in many ways like a beautiful object but now broken and yes sometimes can't be fixed. Sadly my very strong, smart, and handsome husband suffered a devastating stroke one year ago. We celebrated his 1 year life day on August 13 th. I wonder when we celebrate his next life day if he will have accomplished his goals to walk, talk, and run again. Hugs to all who suffer from brain injuries and their families.
