Shot at Columbia University in the City of New York, where we met. In honor of Paperless Post’s recent $25 million venture capital fundraising, I am cordially inviting you to preview a gallery of my engagement photos, captured many moons ago by the lovely and talented Ryan Brenizer; who (unsurprisingly)... Well hello there! Happy Monday and what a day it’s been!! These photos come to you via the Naples Botanical Garden, they host a lovely yoga in the gardens session with Bala Vinyasa Yoga every Sunday morning, and I was able to take advantage of that during my stint in... Continue reading

(Mamma's coat is also courtesy of Zara!!). Chowing on breadsticks! Bunny's new-found foodgroup as of yesterday. Happy Easter... Continue reading

It seems like cold harsh winter is finally leaving us for good (I mean really, snow in April?), and style darling weather is here to stay!!! (Fingers crossed, pretty please). We normally try to stay pretty active around the weekends, but as the weather improves our neighborhood really, truly comes... Continue reading

The leather-bound menu of the Dead Rabbit Foie gras mousse crostini Earlier this week, I braved the snow (yes! Snow in April!!) and headed down to the Dead Rabbit on 30 Water in Fidi to celebrate a friend’s birthday (you may remember her from my trek to Rio). Now, yours... Continue reading

We took advantage of the most recent weekend weather (which was out of control gorgeous) and visited the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. This was on the top of my “Cool parents’ guide to all of New York” list, and the entire time at the garden, I kept thinking, why have we... Continue reading

My mod pod pied-à-terre. Aesthetics reminded me of the Andaz Amsterdam, which makes sense, given that Citizen M also happens to be a Dutch hotelier pitched at the savvy traveler with an eye for comfort & luxury! Last weekend, this mammakins donned her best interpretation of pajama-chic (read, my Isabella... Continue reading

While we're on the subject of swimming, I came across these photos recently while going through my archives (a girl has to be organized somehow!). The following pictures feature us shark diving in South Africa – one of the more adventurous things I did, which I would highly recommend! Where... Continue reading

This Saturday, right after mamma’s fashion blogger sleepover hosted by Citizen M (more on this later!), we took the little Nuke to Freemans for a quick power breakfast before heading down to the Leman Manhattan Prep for his very first swim class! Hosted by Physique Swimming. The truth is, we’ve... Continue reading

Last night, hubs took me to Soho for date night – at a quaint little place called Chalk Point Kitchen, nestled on the corner of Broome and Thompson. It was the perfect finale to a gorgeous day (which kicked off with our fab West Village Easter egg hunt). Now, you... Continue reading

Scoping for eggs ;) Happy Sunday! As always, yours truly was busy scoping for fun things to do for our little family this weekend, and what better way to celebrate this fabulous weather than with an Easter egg hunt in the garden? Organized by the Bowery Babes, the fête took... Continue reading

Not too long ago, on a cold and wintry Saturday afternoon (not altogether dissimilar from our current weather conditions), I was one happy puppy when I discovered that our local coffee shop, the Roasting Plant, carried Blue Mountain Coffee from Jamaica. Blue Mountain, you see, was where I fell in... Continue reading

Happy April 1st (aka April Fools Day)!!! Yours truly have not had much time to write lately, but I promise that there’s been plenty of fun projects in the piepline. I’ve been working on a new domain to follow-up on all of the crazy baby media stuff I’ve been doing... Continue reading

We’re gearing up to take our little munchkin out for his first swimming class soon! My-oh-my. Before we do so, here are a few photos taken of the little guy strutting his stuff in full nautical regalia at a Vineyard in Martinborough, New Zealand. I recall that day fondly, and... Continue reading

Okay – so this is not exactly the final Project Nursery unveil… but it’s pretty darn close to the real thing! We were a bit late in the game (but the Nuke was also late in coming on his part!!). Like many first-time expectant mothers, I wanted everything JUST SO... Continue reading

Rocking the 7am Beepod! We love our Bamboo swaddles from A+A! I write this post with mixed emotions – as it looks like Winter wants to stick around longer than I’d anticipated (much like an unwanted boyfriend). Yesterday was absolutely glorious, as we gallivanted around town and even checked out... Continue reading

Swimsuit by Ralph Lauren, Hat from J. Crew. For post-partum chicas, cut-outs are the most flattering, but also quite possibly the laziest fall-back (plus they leave awkward tan-lines). #tradeoffs First day of 2014 -- munchkin and I saw our first rainbow together! ♥♥♥ Time flies when you’re having fun! Personally,... Continue reading

Normally – these two words don’t exactly go hand in hand, at least not for me. Alas, this ladybird had to drive to Miami (begrudgingly I might add) for business over the holidays (yes yes, we’re dating ourselves as this happened while I was still living in Southwest Florida). To... Continue reading

If you’re ever in this neck of the woods, which we happened to be Saturday morning for munchkin’s music class at TLB, then I’d highly recommend popping by the Mark Jean-Georges for brunch! I’d also endorse it for dinner (though Foursquare reminded me that I haven’t been here for dinner... Continue reading

The fantastic thing about having a little munchkin is the ability to experience all of the “firsts.” First Halloween, first Thanksgiving, first Christmas… the list goes on and on and each no less special than the last and so, so fun! Speaking of fun, these photos of munchkin and his... Continue reading

Happy St. Patrick’s day!!! In honor of today – I’m sharing some photos from one of our pre-baby escapades (feels like a life-time ago)… to Ireland! Hubs took me there for my birthday, what a guy! We based ourselves at the Powerscourt Hotel in County Wicklow (formerly a Ritz Carlton... Continue reading

Hi there!!! Apologies for the delayed response, this worker bee mum has been all over town lately. In answer to your question. YES!! The Charlie is holding up super well, and I have it sitting next to my desk right now (it's housing all of my reading and admin docs). It was much bigger than I had originally anticipated, but I now realize that it's a good thing -- as often times my bags are too small to store my work files. I also like that it's very structured (the shape as well as the cruelty-free material), so I don't have to worry about it getting all scrunched up like many of my other bags do. So happy you visited! Let me know if you have any other questions... and thanks for the positive feedback. I hope you enjoy pregnancy as much as I did! xo, Rockshic

Happy Saturday! It’s the weekend at last, which also means some good ol’ family fun with Rockshic Baby. Today, we ventured uptown to attend a baby music class offered by TLB Music (located on 266 East 78th street). The great thing about living in Manhattan is the accessibility to music...
