Sharing a little experiment I've been working on to see how easy it is to get creative with Adobe Edge Animate. I animated the text (Edge Web Fonts) and published it using Adobe Muse, the result can be viewed here: rufus.li/YmmMNY. Continue reading

Hi Ray, the easiest is to ask whoever prints it out for you to rotate the pages upon output. Cheers, Rufus
Absolutely, you can duplicate any page from the Pages panel. Let me know and have fun. Rufus
Hi Ray, yes you can simply change the image to something that works for you. Enjoy, Rufus

Hi Nicholas, can you not group your files into folders in your Creative Cloud space? (creative.adobe.com). I do this to keep my Creative Cloud files uncluttered and organised. Let me know.

Gianvittorio, what is it you said you saw on iTunes? It does say "Move, rotate, and scale individual layers for precise positioning"... In any case thanks for pointing this out. Clearly a typo.

Great. Let me know how it goes.
I hear you dude. I'd like to know it too. That's the whole point. However, because you cannot select individual elements, my guess is that you cannot rotate or transform "objects". But like I said, I am investigating. ;-)

However, to all of you InDesign users out there... You'll find that the various options for Liquid Page Rules, which are 1) Scale, 2) Re-center, 3) Object-based, like in this example, and 4) Guide-based, give you so many alternatives to apply the rules that you'll find it very easy. The important thing is to know what each one does, and use it accordingly. No waste of time here at all, quite the contrary.
So? Stick with Quark then... ;-)
Funny? In what way? ;-)

So it's this time of the year again... many of you will be producing calendars for yourselves or for your Clients. So I have set myself a little project to make your life easier. But, you will need InDesign CS6 (which is also part of your Creative Cloud Membership) to be able to work with my files, because I am using Liquid Page Rules so that you can easily modify my document to format you like. This is a great example of how Liquid Page Rules can be very useful in your print design projects, and not only for producing layouts for tablet devices. Continue reading
