I tweeted! http://twitter.com/#!/ruralmoms/status/6882698589114369 Because, yes, I'd really love to win this for my family!
Oh wow! This is an amazing opportunity, thank you so much for the chance to win! I'd love to have this, not just because my children would go gaga and probably think I'm the coolest mom ever... but because I've recently started losing weight and could really use the Your Shape Fitness to help me with my goals towards creating a healthier me, which in turn, of course, is for me but also for my children :) Thanks again for the chance to win! Hugs, Barb
My advice is to stick with the paper calendar and accept the minor inconvenience of having to carry it around. With all the slim and purse-friendly size calendars out there, it's not hard to find a substitute for your current version, if needed. As I'm attending college courses, I use a collegiate calendar tailored to my school- which is wonderful as all of the important dates are already imprinted. I'm "old school" by choice. I've used a number of electronic calendar setups over the past twenty years, in fact I was one of the "early adopters" of this technology, but... I inevitable return to my good ol' paper calendar system. At a glance you can easily see a clear month, week, or daily shot of activities and it's just as easy to access (sometimes more easy to access) as electronic counterparts. Sometimes technology clouds our modern vision. Faster, bigger, gadgets with oodles of features isn't always better- it's just faster, bigger, and filled with oodles of gadgets that are time consumming to set up, and you won't wind up utilizing. So you wind up doing things like purchasing a phone that sings, spins, and does a jig for you, but you still simply use it to make phone calls. There's an old adage that sums it nicely- "If it ain't broke, then why fix it." Stick to the paper system... just sayn' Best, Barb

I went back to school this year to finish up a lifetime goal of finishing up on my B.A., then pursuit of a Masters in Library Science. I also want to show my children that no matter how many times "life" may interupt your path, it's never too late to pursue your dreams. So... my wish is to have a laptop mini to help with my campus work and studies. The mini will help me from getting back strain as I'll already have all those books to contend with! MS Office would be nice to have, too. Thanks for the chance to win! Best, Barb
