Ivanorazzi!!! Totally the highlight of yesterday's viewing schedule. After spending much of the morning watching Sveta and Sam cruise, I was off to watch me the doubles pairing of two of the more charming and delightful ladies on tour. And while they're actually not horrible at the game of tennis, they haven't actually won matches together. And by that I mean, no really, they actually haven't won a match together. Whoops. I wasn't the only...

As if the Q&A session wasn't enough... Dear Ms. Petkovic (or can I call you Petkorazzi): My favorite Bloc Party lyric: "Don't be offended if I seem absent-minded. Just keep telling me facts and making me smile." Beer is my tipple of choice. I was a Poli Sci major. My parents met at university in Germany and German is the third language in our household. Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time. I'm...

I'm not proud that I took part in this charade, but I did. And the whole Halpert/Petko Twitter flirtation has now become one of the most uncomfortable things ever. What started out kind of adorable has somehow morphed into this game of who can make the Twitter world yell "GET A ROOM" first. But really, doesn't this all just seem like the entire German Fed Cup team is just following the whole thing and laughing...

From this: To this: You did it! Holy crap! Ok, not really holy crap that you demolished Mischa in damp and slow conditions, 63 61 62. Uh...sorry, dude. We still love you! But holy crap! You're into the semis and will play Sods for a spot in the final. That match is going to see some hitting. Team Berdych!

Berdych 2.0. He's beaten the #2 and #3 consecutively and now gets his shot at the #1 in his first Grand Slam final on Sunday. Against Nole, just as he did against Fed, Tomas was steady and played within himself, hitting big but also being patient. That patience and his improved movement were really impressive. He was willing to engage in rallies with Nole until he worked out a good opportunity to take a crack....

A few months ago, a certain friend of mine asked me what the big deal was with Tomas. The question was basically, "Why is he relevant?" Why do hardcore tennis fans talk about him like he's a threat when he hasn't won anything? Why do people shake their heads ruefully whenever his name comes up? AND WHY DOES HE INSIST ON BEATING FERNANDO VERDASCO ALL THE TIME??? Now there's a match that I can point...

The Andrea Petkovic awesomeness campaign continues, thanks in large part to our very own Maz. Read Andrea's impromptu Twitter Q&A after the jump. She is charming the pants off all of us.

"When I'm on the top of my game, it's very hard to beat me because you really have to kind of spill blood if you want to win the match." -- JJ, on...her awesomeness?. I don't know. It wasn't really responding to the question.

Oh, Igor. It just hurted so much to watch. Igor gives Roger good matches. But just like at USO08, he just couldn't convert the big points when he needed to. Roger doesn't give you many looks. And so it goes. Igor played amazingly and found himself with set points to go up 2 sets to 1 and just...choked. Hard. Roger destroyed him in the tiebreak and the fourth set was a somewhat merciful kill. Matt...

Here it is. The full trophy ceremony, uninterrupted, which I am compelled to post after the debacle that was the TV coverage today. The match started on CBS, was moved to ESPN2 after the rain delay, and just as Rafa got his hands on the trophy, ESPN2 unceremoniously and rather abruptly switched coverage to NFL. It was a shining moment in sports television history. Keep it up, Bristol. You have to love the class both...

This is Laura Robson. She's my new bestie. Let's sidestep the fact that it's completely ridiculous and creepy for a 32 year-old to refer to a 16 year-old a "bestie". I don't like it when facts get in the way of my story. With Sam winning on Sunday, I obviously stuck around a couple of extra days. So I was able to see Robbie's second round juniors match. It was fun, primarily because I was...

These are the shoes of a woman who insists on destroying both my spirit and my general affinity towards short people. First, she ruins what could have been the greatest sports story of all time. Then she had to beat Robbie today. Now it turns out, SHE'S BEING COACHED BY ZELJKO and she's going to play Portoroz. Fuck you. Singles - First Round Magdalena Rybarikova (SVK) d. (2) Dinara Safina (RUS) 67(4) 64 64 (7)...
