Hi everyone....Sarah here. Today I am sharing with you a terrific Kreaxions punch that I use on pretty much any and all layouts where a flower is included...and if you know my work then you know that is just about all of them! I am talking about this leaf punch (Kreaxions Punch #602 Leaf) Here is how I like to use this little but very effective punch. I love to just randomly punch out the little leaves from my bits and scraps when my layout is finished. I will end up with leaf punches in different shades of colors and... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Sarah here...I'd like to share a layout with all of you where I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to create multiple circle embellishments on my page as well as the Butterfly 4 in 1 punch to create two seperate punched borders out of just one punched strip of paper. Here is my layout... First, I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut one large circle about 3" wide. Then, I continued to use the Kreaxions Circle Cutter on the same circle setting it a notch smaller with each cut to create rings starting from the outside and working... Continue reading

I don't think that it's possible for me to choose my favorite Kreaxions tool or punch, but the butterfly punch sure is on the top of my list!! I find myself using this butterfly punch repeatedly, and I've actually created a home for it on my scrappy desk because I just keep reaching for it on every layout! Here is a page that I created for my sister using a couple of her wedding photos from last summer and the Kreaxions butterfly punch, of course! Instead of using ties, twine, ribbon, or string to connect the banner, I decided to... Continue reading

Happy New Years Eve!! Sarah here to share with you one of my favorite ways to use many of the Kreaxions punches. I can't stand to let all of those beautifully printed pattern papers go to waste, so I actually have a basket of scraps sitting on my desk that I can dive into whenever I need. My favorite way to use up my scraps is by creating punched shapes out of them and using the punched shapes as accents and embellishments on my scrapbook pages and cards. Here are a few examples with close-ups of how I've used my... Continue reading

Happy Holidays everyone...Sarah here. Today I'm really excited to share with you a tutorial on how to create accordian flowers for your craft projects using the Kreaxions circle cutter and a Kreaxions punch of your choice. 1. Use your circle cutter and simply set it to the size of your choice, this will be the base of your flower. Cut a 12" long strip of coordinating paper half the width of the size you would like your flower to be....for example, if you would like to create a 4" wide flower then cut the strip of paper 12" long by... She absolutely loves peace signs so I printed of some free clipart from my computer and used the fabulous Kreaxions circle cutter to cut them out. Then I used the A & B templates, the circle cutter, and my 4 in 1 Butterfly punch to create a paper doily as a background (in hot pink of course) for the peace signs. Hello everyone, Sarah here with you this fine Friday to share with you a layout that I created using a punch doily and also some half circles that give the look of a giant scalloped border. First of all, I used one of my fabulous Kreaxions punches along with the star template to create the cute little paper doily that is worked into the title grouping. I used the awesome circle cutter to cut 5 or 6 1 1/2" inch circles and then I simply cut the circles in half with a paper trimmer. Line the half circle up in... Continue reading

Here is a layout and a card that I used some paper doilies that I created myself in a 3" inch size by using the star template and also a fabulous 7" size by using the Stencil A that comes in the stencil set. I love my new stencils for inner and outer circle punching!! It's so simple, you just trace and then punch away! The giant red doily that I created for this layout was made without using any positioning parts with the punch but you can use the positioning parts to create a variety of different looks. This doily is approximately 7" wide, just perfect for a photo mat, and I also created a smaller doily approximately 3" wide to use on the top right of my layout as a base for my journaling. I cut off a small portion of the... Continue reading

I have to tell you that I LOVE this circle cutter!!! The fact that I can just set it down on the paper and cut away without any measuring or using different sized contraptions for various sizes is just fantastic!! Here is a card that I created the other day using the fantastic circle cutter. To make the flowers on this card I used the circle cutter to cut 2 larger circles, 2 medium sized circles, and two smaller circles. I then wadded and crinkled the paper circles, inked them, then layered the circles to form flowers. Super easy with... Continue reading
