I'd use it to make photo magnets as holiday gifts.
Rent a house! So much more fun to live like a local than stay in a condo tower.

This sums up my current state of mind -- if not the past three decades -- rather well: "My problem is that all things are increasingly interesting to me" - William Gibson Continue reading

I heard Gibson read at Booksmith last night. He didn't address the lack of Cayce directly, but did talk about how he holds a "casting call" for characters as he begins each book, and picks the ones who best tell the story. Presumably, Cayce either didn't show up or didn't make the cut. (From the bit he read, it sounds like we won't be wanting for branding or heroines though.)

Funny, Google's "Social Circle" feature just pointed me to this post. :-). I'm toying with the idea of going gluten-reduced (if not free) for a bit, and definitely making a big effort to stay away from refined wheat and sugar. I'm interested to hear what you learn, and will share any secrets I come across too.

Interesting. Now that I reread the summary, she is mysteriously absent. Maybe the literary world can only handle one very-specifically-branded heroine at a time?

Funny. When I read about Zero History, my first thought was that Gibson would do well to rebrand himself as the Canadian Stieg Larsson.

Thanks. Now, to decide if I break my August moratorium on buying new books... :-).

Think this would be useful for the non-developer software types? (Say...PMs?) And...where did you find the ebook-treebook bundle? I can't find a link.

That link should have come with a warning. Unsee! Unsee! (Okay, I get that the post itself was sort of a warning, but I hadn't read down as far as the one eyed/six eyed/shark mouthed kitten. I feel like I need to wash my eyes out with soap now.)
