Second the recommendation above for The Girl in the Fireplace. It's the most painful hour of TV I can remember watching. You know how some media has the tears pouring down your face at the end? This hurt too much for that to happen.

What, no Settlers of Catan? (And I spent way too many Monday nights in college playing Talisman until the wee hours...) I love playing Uno, too: MSN was nice enough to give us a Free Preview of their version, which matches you to other players by rank...

I think my daughter Ael is developing in that direction. Last summer, we were walking up the hill toward home. I was in front, she was in back, when I heard her going "ow, ow, ow..." Over my shoulder, I said "Define 'ow'." Without missing a beat, she retorted, "Oh God, oh God, I'm going to die?"
