July 11 couldn't seem to come fast enough so that Season 4.5 would start. Having watched by myself in the past I was now watching with my husband and mother-in-law, and I'd gotten other friends to start watching in the last year as well. The show is smart, funny, creative, and I have tremendous respect and admiration for everyone involved in the show. It comes together in such a cohesive package each episode, and it is evident to see in the end result what Wil describes as a work family. Sigh. Feeling as depressed as I do, I can only begin to imagine how the cast and crew are feeling about the news.

I love reading these stories, whether on twitter or here on the blog, because I think it makes for great television when all of you love making the show and we love watching it. A share of the lottery wins :) Thanks!

Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary (and we had our first dance at 1:59pm). I like number patterns and puzzles, but it also makes it so much fun, and easier, for others to remember (once we had the 3.14 calendar/pi conversation with our families). We received the matching think geek pi sweatshirts at the holidays and on other days my husband jumps at the chance to wear matching sweatshirts but yesterday he thought it might be overdoing it to wear matching sweatshirts with pi, to a restaurant named pi (a pizza place in St Louis), on pi day. Silly husband.

That is a wonderful tribute. I unfortunately did not know the full extent of his work, but now I have the opportunity to discover more of these amazing characters that he created. Thank you.
