We were busy doing all the songs according to the order. Andrew was busy taking photographs of us. Far from my concern, we managed to do all the songs. If Chris had seen we playing, he would also have been satisfied with it. I am looking forward to the perfromance... Continue reading

Collin's song made us a little confused. Chris suggested that I should play the chords Collin had made instead of strumming once. I think we are not well-prepared for the perfomance. I still can't memorize the lyrics of 'Unforseen time'. I think Chris is worried about our performance netx week.... Continue reading

We did 4 songs of ours because Hannah was absent. We still have some difficulties in collaborating with Collin's song. I couldn't play the guitar properly.... So I have decided to strum once each cycle... Is it ok? Now I'm practicing with my guitar.. Continue reading

I thought I had memorised the lyric that I sing. Woops! I couldn't remember it...I feel sorry to the members. Chris had asked me to make any musical material for our group performance. I made a song that had C-minor key. In the morning I tried to sing the song....but...What... Continue reading

We don't have much time to practise until our performance. We did lots of pieces of music of our own. Unfortunately my vocal part song wasn't practised because we were busy doing Collin's and Hannah's song. I had practised my guitar solo part at the middle of Come on Girl... Continue reading

IPad is really like a hand tool with which I can do lots of things, especially music. I have mainly used IPAD for my compositions. My favorite apps are 'piano apps. I could make music easily with the apps and even record them with the apps. When I make music,... Continue reading

We played all the pieces we have. Chris' drumming was fantastic. His playing was really helpful for our collaboration. When we played 'Butterfly', I felt there were some dissonances in the middle part. I don't know what was wrong. When we played Collin's piece, I often lose the beats. I... Continue reading

It was tiring....We practiced some pieces because we didn't have a drummer. I found I had to memorize lyrics and guitar solo adrib part. As I practice and practice, I come to know myself more than before. I feel I'm not a good musician because I'm stuck in jail of... Continue reading

Finally, I finished my work. I organised volumes and pannings of each track. I also added some more effects on them lest the audio clips should be heard as the original sound. I think the original audios can hardly be heard as musical materials. So I had to the colours... Continue reading

Today morning, I added some effect on each track with Logic Pro. The effect were 'reverb', 'Delay', 'Distortion' and so on. I am not still sure if this piece is full of feeling that I want to contain in it. Yesterday, I recorded a video about this task with IPAD.... Continue reading

Finally I've just arranged all my audio clips. I found Scanning Sound has 2 pitches....as well as a beat. The pitches are Cb and Ab. I made a chorus simple with the two notes above. I tried to make it feel like walking in the street bravely. A lot of... Continue reading

What... ? I lost the 1st post. I am really really foolish. Two weeks ago, I recorded 10 audio clips with Ipad. Because I am not good at New Technology, I made my children do it for me. They kindly copy all the clips into my USB memory stick...Godd boys.... Continue reading

It's really rainy mood except for toilet sound. It seems to show a day of Thomas. As he likes Hip Hop, his music composed in hip-hop style. The narrations between songs were like pause...cool... At the end...the voice of Samuel...is so funny... Repeated chords progression. Cool!.... I think it's not bad. Good work, Thomas.

I have just commented on Thomas' work. http://love4mum.typepad.com/blog/2010/09/5-using-ipad-to-record.html I think it's so simple...but I'm concerned about my work. I arranged my audio clips downloaded from e-mail. The Scanning Sound has a beat....cheers. I have a plan to make music with the beat of the scanning sound. Continue reading

We did most of our songs. We still have some problems with some songs. We are sure to do more practice. I am very sorry I forgot the chords of the 2nd verse of Butterfly. In fact, I am older than you guys...so my abilities to memorize something are getting... Continue reading

It was a good practice. I sang my parts several times.... Was it good? I'm not sure... I'm not confident of my voice. I think my voice is too simple to impress audience.... Just...loud.... We have to figure out when we should start altogether at the chorus part. I think... Continue reading
