Yeah it looks like a LOT of work. Luckily my kids eat raw veggies like they're candy. There's not much my kids won't eat. But the cookbooks looks cute!

i find cookbooks a joy to read. they are full of culinary inspiration, to be sure. but not to be overlooked are their ability to transport you to a different time and place all together. particularly good at this is nigella - i love LOVE her on so many levels and several of her books frequent...

Yep. Been there done that! This past month in NM has been horrible. I moved away from the east coast to get AWAY from the snow. Even my kids were over it after the first day.

I'd love to try this but I don't like flour. Well, the mess it makes. Must be some weird OCD thing about me. I don't like cooking/baking things that make a mess. I have tile counters in this house too which really stops me from flour...yeah....I 'm weird!
