Yeah it looks like a LOT of work. Luckily my kids eat raw veggies like they're candy. There's not much my kids won't eat. But the cookbooks looks cute!
making :: secret ingredients
i find cookbooks a joy to read. they are full of culinary inspiration, to be sure. but not to be overlooked are their ability to transport you to a different time and place all together. particularly good at this is nigella - i love LOVE her on so many levels and several of her books frequent...
I'm so happy you are enjoying your crafting so much. You are so talented!
lessons
saturday was my craft show, and it was wonderful in so many ways. i loved assembling my table :: as you may know, i really feel like i've finally found my own crafting way. it surfaced as i seemed to have developed a style uniquely me, as it were. not by deliberately trying to be different...
You are so dang talented! I think I need some of those kidlets....
spill

Yep. Been there done that! This past month in NM has been horrible. I moved away from the east coast to get AWAY from the snow. Even my kids were over it after the first day.

The Happy Homemaker
grumperina's got the look down with her beautifully made apron, high heels and pearls. but i've got the mad skillz (ha!). this weekend, i made bread. my mother would be proud (although probably skeptical--she's always amazed whenever i accomplish something domestic). over the holidays i deci...
Ohhhhhh that space looks fantastic!
Buy Local!
I must share with you some eye candy from my new favorite local source for crafty goodness. This month, Edith & Edna expanded their shop to include a craft basement. Woohoo! Owners Brandie and Julie have put their crafty-blog love to use hunting down all sorts of quality stuff - loads of patt...
How do you get ANYTHING done with two walking kiddos???

very excited about my first show in 6 weeks - there's so much to do and i have to get back into planning mode. when i'm not chasing after the two little walkers. oh yeah, have i mentioned that they are BOTH officially WALKING? sissy has been at it for a month, but little miss thing just up an...
I love the inside of the purse!!!
some spring things
While I was hanging the washing out today, Keira was pottering around the garden, and discovered the watering can filled with rainwater, and sat there for a while dipping her hands into it, and pouring the water over her feet. Then it dawned on me that she is the classic age for 'water play.' I ...
