Bosom Buddies was brilliant comedy even though it was dismissed as fluff. It introduced Holland Taylor as a great reactive comedic actress. There was a scene with her and Peter and Tom where she was sandwiched between the both of them as they were hugging her and her response to this suggestive position was "Boys, hold the mayo." And then there was the scene where Tom and Peter were stuck in a cabin with one tiny bed to sleep in and neither wanted to sleep on the floor. Peter's approach made Tom very uncomfortable and in the end, Tom wound up on the floor. There were many good comedic moments in this short lived series and it did bring us a cast that left a mark on TV history. I was sad to hear of Wendie Jo Sperber's passing because she too brought some good comedic gems t that show.
