Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy Thanks to CoolMomPicks.com, Scribbling Club was featured yesterday morning on the Back to School Edtion of the Today Show! They highlighted our stamps, bookplates, and kids' name labels. Needless to say my familly and I were so excited and grateful. It was truly an answered prayer! Other featured items included various types of lunch boxes, labels for identifying school gear, and some really cool and colorful Converse sneakers featuring Dr. Suess characters. Thanks Today Show, Kristen, and Liz! Continue reading

I definitely heart handmade, especially since Scribbling Club was Shop of the Day at I Heart Handmade. I was truly surprised and excited to find my shop in such a special place. I Heart Handmade is a "seasonally inspired handmade market" and a unique place to promote your shop. I am included in the Holiday Market, so I am looking forward to all of the great rewards (including this one) that this adventure will bring! Thanks Jess & DJ !! Continue reading

I am happy to announce that last week a personalized name stamp from my Etsy Scribbling Club Shop ( clear rubber stamps) was featured on the artsypreneur at artsypreneur.com. I am so excited because this is such a fun shop! First, I love their pastel floral wallpaper; it immediately drew me in and added so much visual fun to my browsing experience. You know how you go window shopping sometimes just to enjoy all of the vibrancy around you. And I love their byline... The Artsypreneur - Featuring fabulous...fresh...fun...funk... finds Monday-Friday. That says it all. And Madge, the curator, has... Continue reading

Okay this one is my second art stamp, but it is also a name stamp & you can have it personalized. I drew this one by hand, scanned it, and then used my g-pen to go over the line art. The stamp itself has thinner lines. But I wanted to show what an art stamp could look like if you used shading and lots of ink. Right now, most of my stamp characters have dotty eyes, but whenever I draw them by hand it is easier to add more detail. Name Stamps are here, & Art Stamps are right here.... Continue reading

I haven't posted here in a while because I've been so busy designing and managing a flurry of orders at my Etsy shop. So I have decided to start a new blog Called Clear Rubber Stamp of the Day to post my latest designs. I will still post here of course, but now I feel a bit more organized. And I'm starting backwards by making the first Clear Rubber Stamp of the Day the last one that I designed. It is a "Handmade By" stamp and is designed for those who sell handmade products. A clear rubber stamp is a stamp made from polymer as opposed to rubber. Polymer stamps cling to an acrylic block and are repositionable. Because the acrylic block is clear, it is easy to see where to position your stamp. And you only need a few blocks of various sizes since you can take one stamp off and place another one onto the block. Also, most clear stamps are not mounted so they are easy to store. Scribbling Club stamps are made from clear or clear red polymer. Scribbling Club stamps can easily be customized and personalized and make great... Continue reading
