oh shits! did you miss the Oregon brewfest on the waterfront in Portland, Wil? yes. yes you did. well actually it goes to sunday, but you know, i assume you won't hop on a plane last minute for it, what your 'obligations' and what-not. speaking of drinking, i will have to tell you the tale of drinking scotch with Jonathan Frakes some time... you came up in conversation.....

funny you should say that about being lost in a fog Wil, evidently Mr. Gaiman feels your pain as well: (from today's blog): "I'm more or less happily writing Chapter Six of The Graveyard Book. I say more or less as I'm at that place where I hope that the book knows what it's doing because right now I don't have a clue -- I'm writing one scene after another like a man walking through a valley in thick fog, just able to see the path a little way ahead, but with no idea where it's actually going to lead him."

hey Wil, it's cool to see you plugging Pulp revival stuff. I am just finishing up the first three chapter instalment of a three part serielized tale to be published some time early next year. (first published work, woohoo!) it will than be collected together and reissued as a stand alone novel. also, if you, or anyone else is interested, there's a great database of downloadable PDFs of original pulp stories with all the spot illustrations, etc. at: Online Pulps
