Mie, congrats but I'm sorry that it was such a bumpy road this time. In particular, it's outrageous that the nurse who you woke up to didn't know whether the baby was OK! That seems really uncool. But I'm glad the baby's healthy and you're healing, those are the important things. I look forward to meeting the newest Yaginuma when I get back to SF next week...

Wow. They say each birth is different but I think we got quite the example of that. It took me several days to piece together what happened, as I emerged from somewhat of a twilight zone, recovering from surgery, but holding a healthy beautiful girl. It's been taking time to emotionally proces...
