Is it just me or does anyone else think that if you have to wash your washing machine, something's not right? Maybe it's a conspiracy created by the Tide people. Or maybe people are just trying to be too fancy.... Continue reading

Someone left a voicemail at my office today asking me to fax them a document regarding an invoice I'd sent out. A) Who still has a fax? B) In the time it took me to print out the document &... Continue reading

People in my office can't even be bothered to put their dirty cups in the almost empty dishwasher. They set them in the sink!

When in our society did people go from being dog and cat owners to "pet parents?" I know that people dress up their pets like children, but aren't those people still deemed as slightly nutty? Yes, I understand that you... Continue reading

Why people insist on making very personal calls in their cube is beyond me. I really don't want to hear about your scarred uretha. Continue reading

The neighbors down the street have had Christmas lights up on their house since I moved in which was in August. Of course, they still haven't turned on the lights. Take them down or turn them on! Continue reading

It never ceases to amaze me when supposedly educated people do not understand the concept of RSVP. "RSVP" is not a correct reply to an RSVP request on an invitation. I'm still not sure if that person is going to... Continue reading

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in the United States who doesn't like Les Miz. I had to watch the movie, not the musical mind you, in French class in junior high. I have no idea what people find... Continue reading

People do that shit to me all the time! People who I know have an iPhone and an iPad both of which can be used from any location that has a cellular signal. The best is when someone with an iPhone calls me on it to look up something that they could have googled on said iPhone!

It doesn't matter whether it's the grocery store or a lane on the freeway, I'm am awful at picking out a good line. I could be one of three customers at Target. There are three lines open. None of them... Continue reading

I can't stop eating leftover Halloween candy, but don't have hurricane stress as an excuse. At least you have that.

I will never understand why people who work in cubes make personal calls. I don't want to hear all of your business. Also, I don't want to hear the same story multiple times. Seriously, if I have to hear about... Continue reading

While I support the fact that everyone has the right to their opinion, I really don't want to hear it in the office. Shocking as this may seem, not everyone agrees with your point of view. Just because I don't... Continue reading

Thank you! Why can't people see the whole equation when it comes to calculating parking time? They just see the end of the day.

I will never understand the back in parking style. It always looks like it takes more effort than the pull in, so why would I bother? Is there some magical, time saver of which I am unaware when one parks... Continue reading

Standing in the middle of the doorway of the restroom in an office building is a poor choice to bitch about your coworkers, family or whoever else you feel the need to speak of in low, hushed tones. Don't get... Continue reading

My local Target is a poorly managed nightmare. There are never enough checkout counters open regardless of the time of day. I girded my loins as I approached the double stacked registers this evening and picked what seemed like the... Continue reading

Apparently my office is also doubling as someone's day care this summer. I'd be OK with a kid there if they were contained to their parents' office area, but plopping them in the vacant cube near my desk? Lame. I... Continue reading

Why do people text, "Are you busy?" What do you want? A text has 160 characters, surely you can hint at your desire just a little bit. It's not like I can't ignore your message or pretend I didn't get... Continue reading

I hate that too. Seriously, men tweet things that are more interesting and that's only 140 characters. What the hell?

Is this a California thing? Why do restaurants put fruit flavors in iced tea? Isn't tea a flavor? If I wanted something with mango or passion fruit in it, I'd drink juice! Stop trying to make it fancy. It's iced... Continue reading
