I realized these changes, too. But I try to keep my blog as my main voice in the internet, because there I have the power to delete things. The blog entries go to the RSS feed, the RSS feed goes to twitter, twitter goes to facebook, and there I meet all my friends. Unfortunately they prefer facebook to comment my blog instead of the comment function of my blog. And when I read Laika I thought of the Russian dog that died on its very first space mission :-( I hope your blog isn't going to die.

Honestly, we ordered the weekend tickets for FedCon when you were announced. Since we have the same family constellation as you (two sons from another man, I married a geek) I really liked your blog, follow you on twitter and read your book "Just a geek" and that's why I was looking forward to meeting you. It's strange, but sometimes I have the suspicion that I only have to mention what I want and the universe gives it to me. And I don't know why I deserve this. Same with your stay at FedCon: I said "I want Wil Wheaton" and a couple of weeks later you were announced. Isn't that crazy? I am glad that all FedCon visitors treated you nicely and that you had a good time in Germany. It would be great to have you again here one day :-)

Hi, Wil, I just got to know that you will be in Germany at the FedCon in April/Mai. I'm really looking forward meeting you. Did you survive the week offline? I couldn't imagine to get offline for such a long period of time. Cheers, :-) Sandra
