i would like to second some of the comments so far and recommend the charlie papazian book _the_new_complete_joy_of_home_brewing_ there are several editions all of which are pretty much the same. he keeps updating it because 'old' books tend not to stay in print very long. i see on amazon that some of these papazian books are available for $0.01 used. may i suggest the name 'wheaton flux ale' good luck wil!
