Thanks Paul! Still sharing what I see after all these years. Good to know people are still enjoying the pics. Hopefully I'll get back to writing again one of these days. For now, glad to share photos. I'm still not over the honeymoon phase in CR ten years later!

This year I'm hitting the Costa Rican roads. Last week I went to the beach. This week I started off in the other direction, up to La Fortuna. The bridge above is the one that collapsed late last year when two overweight trucks decided to cross at the same time.... Continue reading

This week I needed to make a quick run down to Samara. As usual, my hotel of choice El Sueño Tropical, did their best to make it a wonderful experience! Howler monkeys arrived in time to join me for breakfast both days. A special treat!!! I watched a troop climb... Continue reading

It was a special treat to spend sunset with mama and baby yesterday. When the sun went down, they came out to play. A hug for mama then baby was off exploring on his own. And back to mama again! The pair dined in the treetops until I could barely... Continue reading

Another camera has bitten the dust. If you've followed the blog any length of time you know I take a lot of photos. For the past several months I've been limping along with a camera held together with duct tape and super glue. Life in Costa Rica is hard on... Continue reading

The gift I gave myself this year was a weekend at an amazing healing center (Metta Vibrational Healing Center) to figure out what I wanted to do in the coming year. The goal, to come home with a plan. A focus. When I called to make arrangements I learned the... Continue reading

As the last day of 2015 ticks away I'm reminded how far we've come in the past ten years. On New Year's eve 2005 we had sold our vehicles, quit our jobs and were doing the final packing for our move to Costa Rica. We've been living here, happily ever... Continue reading

Mama and baby sloth are still hanging together in the bosquecito. Last year, mother and baby said their goodbyes in early October. Hubby thinks it's because this baby fell from a tree in early October. After the frightful experience, this baby is hanging on to mama for as long as... Continue reading

High season is upon us. Tourists are arriving and local businesses are preparing for the what they hope will be a profitable year. Spas are stocking up too. For me that means candle orders. The past week was spent crafting hand rolled candles in the craft room. Signed, sealed and... Continue reading

Please join me in sending healing energy and LOVE to Luna, a precious being that had an unfortunate encounter with the car I was driving. Hold her human family in your thoughts as well. Could have lived without this experience but I'm grateful for the lesson to work through. Well,... Continue reading

"Really, Babe?" This photo is precious! It's from the video Kelsey took when she broke the surprise to Craig. The surprise, instead of mom flying in for his 30th birthday, THEY were flying to Costa Rica to celebrate! It was a quick trip but we made the most of it.... Continue reading
