Come on Wil. Lets get you on here: http://chipmeup.pokernews.com/ and see if we can't get you in an event!

Pokerstars is bound by the same problems as most other gaming sites. As a Canadian I can make a deposit there by using an e-cheque but for more info go here: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/real-money/

Seriously Wil. If you're gonna go visit your buddy in Vegas during the WSOP I've got few hundred to buy a piece of you for one of the smaller events, like event 54. It's right before the main event and all you'd have to do is find a few other people willing to do the same. That way we could get in the tourny in a small way and you'd get to put your lucky monkey on the felt once again.

So, are you gonna talk about how cute that girl was??

It's pictures/posts like this that remind me of why I read your blog. At the same time you were wearing that stuff I was wearing lime green/white striped cotton drawstinged pants with the cuffs tight rolled, tan mesh deck flats with no socks, and a purple Quicksilver t-shirt, with a green OP t-shirt on top and the sleves rolled up to reveal the awesome splash of purple underneath. Now I did wear the Swatch, but only one. I needed room for the friendship bracelettes. To top it all off, I had what every wanna-be preppie wore. Black framed mirrored sunglasses, with hot pink arms.

Remember, 80% of us Canadians agree, and are we ever wrong? On another topic quickly, have you played the new Portal maps from the guys that did the flash Portal game? Try them if you haven't. They are great. www.wecreatestuff.com

So, as a fellow geek you had to get the TRON ring game reference when Stark was hanging from the broken skylight at the climax of the movie. Right??

The only suggestions I have are these: Get a camera with 3 CCD's - They will make life so much easier if you ever decide to start editing stuff. Color correction is much easier with three separate signals, one for each primary color. Hi Def is the way to go. - Need I say more?? It's all about the lens. - it doesn't matter what format you get. If the lens sucks, nothing else matters.

Are you gonna pop up to Vancouver while you're this far north. I was thinking of doing a Riker's Poker Night thing. Wouldn't it be great to finally play in the game with the big boys??

As much as I respect you for deciding to pay your way in I feel I must point out the fact that you were WESLEY FRAKING CRUSHER. They should have paid you for being there. Oh, did you see they're making a TRON 3D?

WIL: "I don't think I'm conveying how incredibly hilarious it was" Not only do I understand now, I understood then. "The Picard Manouver" was a running koke not only between my friends and I but a couple of our high school teachers were in on it as well, most notably my band/music composition teacher Marty Summers. Mr Summers owned a comic book store just out of town that my friends and I would frequent on a semi-regular basis to purchase packs of hockey cards and stock up on our TNG gagets like rank pips, communicators and phasers. We'd do the PM in class just for the hell of it or wherever the others wouldn't be expecting it just to get a giggle out of them . And I'm glad you're back to writing these reviews. With bated breath I await your thoughts on "The Dauphin".

Try managing a restaurant that has the worlds best burgers while on a diet. Your life becomes an oxymoron of Diet Coke and xtra crispy fires.

Does sound like an interesting program but I'll hold off until I can get the CBC radio news feed. But I guess the best thing to stream would have to be a little thing you may have run across, Radio Free Burrito?

Good luck on Friday Wil. I'm playing in a tourny on Thursday night and will have your name in side my card marker. Here's to hoping we both come out on top. I'm looking for a repeat of last week. Lets hope you don't have a dead run of cards until you can afford it this time.
