my brother and I reckon that david tennent is one of the finest actors of his generation, everything he has done has been brilliant. last year the BBC showed the RSC's modern dress hamlet which starred both david tennant and patrick stewart which was outstanding, if you can i would reccommend that you see it.
so we were both a uncertain about matt smith, but he has been good, i haven't missed david tennant at all.
