I didn't realize that Colwin was a novelist when I first started reading her food writing. I imagine that I'd really like her fiction and I must look for it at the library. Fantastic. I do love garden fresh asparagus. My Dad has a little asparagus patch and the joy is huge when he can harvest a handful. I have yet to try morels. How do they compare to other mushrooms?
