you don't even have to use your real name, just make on up. I use my nickname there too. and you can change your settings to the highest privacy possible.

I follow Oscar Pistorius´ way for some years now and I was so relieved when he finally won his gold medal yesterday. Thank god the paralympics were livestreaming on the internet, or I had missed some great moments. So glad to see the audience was supporting these athlethes so much.
