I remember the first time I saw a Juju hat in an issue of Domino magazine. It was fuchsia, and I was instantly in love! I didn't know what it was or where one would even obtain one, but it was one of those design elements that I knew I wanted to incorporate into my own space some day. Here I am a handful of years later with a DIY... Continue reading

Jen, Well, thank you for your encouragement! I try really hard to stay true to my brand even when it's sponsored and say no to so many things that aren't something I'd use or buy myself. I know I have earned everyone's trust in some way and want to continue to keep it even while working with sponsors to help keep things running smoothly over here (and to have more time to spend with my family). You're so sweet for saying that and I appreciate it. Thanks for reading!-Rachel

Yes! I love the look of pine since we already have so much dark wood in our rental but I do think this bench leaves things wide open for staining or painting the base for an even more custom look. I'd love to see how yours turns out! -Rachel

Have you ever seen a beautiful piece of furniture in a boutique or design magazine and decided you'd sell your soul to make it yours? I recently saw a woven bench online with the most perfect caramel-colored leather and couldn't stop thinking about whether or not I could make my own. I searched online to see if it would be more cost effective to just buy one instead of DIYing... Continue reading
