I totally agree. This is pretty much the same blog post I wrote a few months ago (same title even) when Code Year was getting so much press. HyperCard couldn’t change it; Visual Basic couldn’t change it; and no amount of instructional videos and interactive code challenges can change it. We might be able to nudge the number upward by making things easier, but there is a hard limit.
