Hi Tracy, A lot of your questions are the questions I ask myself when I have quiet to sit and think. The quiet and stillness doesn't happen enough for me. I am looking forward to some quiet and home time starting Christmas Eve. Still running around crazy with activities. The big kids get bigger and life gets busy. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your day! Enjoy your quiet.

I feel you on the not having done anything as far as Christmas prep goes. We have been so sick here with the flu since before thanksgiving. I think it is finally leaving us. Our gingerbread day is going to be next week. We started that tradition about five years ago after being inspired by your posting about it. It is a treasured time that my kids and I look forward to every year. Thank you for linking to those boots! Are those the boots you wore on thanksgiving? I admired them when you posted yourself wearing them while knitting. They look very cozy. I am a huge dansko fan. I don't feel guilty about the price because they last forever!! God bless! Kirsten

I love it! Very bright and cheerful! I have the same abc and number cards on our classroom wall! I was also going to put a "clothesline" across our windows instead of curtains. Love it Tracy!

Tracy, I can so relate over here. I am totally feeling the big burnout blah. I just want to hibernate in my bed all. day. long. But, indeed, so much to be thankful for. I love your list. It has inspired me a bit! And your pictures are gorgeous!! They look all warm and cozy. Blessings, Kirsten

Much to think about on this one Tracy!!! I especially like this "being faithful to our daily routines is the best way to make progress." I feel like if I just stuck to this so much progress would be made, not only in my surroundings but in my spiritual life as well. Happy New Year!!! Loved your photo recap!

I think your pictures are beautiful. I love the ones of your tree. Your home looks nice and cozy. I smiled at the picture of your jacket and when I saw the Orange bowl patch. I also marched in the Orange Bowl parade one year. I played the French Horn for nine years. (sigh) Fun times!! I still have to get our Christmas cards out and I know my girls have letters to write ;0) Merry Christmas to you all!!!

I loved reading your comment on my blog. It's nice to know I am not the only one running around all over town :0) and your home does look nice and cozy. So if it is a mess your snapshots are hiding it well ;0) I loved the picture of your children in the snow!!! We had some snowflakes today, however they melted as soon as they touched the ground. My guys looked do disappointed looking out the window. Hee hee. Happy 2nd week of Advent! Kirsten
