Wow, must have been an incredibly SLOOOOOOOOW news day! It's nice to see all of the Hators here today. Must be getting ready to start the new college football season. Let's see ... who is the defending National Champs? OK, fine. Who's #1? Perhaps if you losers spent more time putting pressure on your own school to win and less on attacking those who are you might have something real to cheer about. Or, you can wallow in your misery and take shots at THE GATORS! This is great entertainment!

Yes, this is funny! Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes have both officially stated that it is their intention to deliver the news with a right-slant, because they want us to believe that ALL of the other news organizations deliver the news with a left-slant. No other news organization's leaders have ever done so, regardless of whether or not you buy that load of garbage. It's clear the Olbermann's show is a reaction to Tabloid Bill O'Reilly, as is Stephen Colbert. One is a parody and the other is a direct counter-reaction. We all know the differences between commentary and actual news. But if you look beyond these two shows, any objective observer would admit that there is very, very little actual "news" on Fox, while at least MSNBC has actual news anchors and delivers actual news stories. We all know that in the morning, Joe Scarborough is NOT going to be balanced, but be a mouthpiece for the right. Please tell me who Fox's left-wing mouthpiece is? What show does he or she have? These are apples and oranges and anyone who studies the industry also realizes that there is only ONE place to get spoon-fed the agenda of the radical right. This translates into ratings because people cannot find this propaganda anywhere else. The rest of the viewers pick from many other outlets, thus diluting the remaining ratings. Not all of us are so brainwashed.

bamajoe - You stay focused on that. I guess you have to take your little victories where you can. We understand. Get it done on the field and you won't be searching so hard for all of these shallow victories.

Lakesidegator - You must understand that the jealousy runs deep and wide with so many Gator opponents. DT is clearly stuck in the past and looking to kick up a fight with anyone that will listen to him whine. He wants people to think that the article and/or others are saying that Meyer is BETTER than Bryant. Nobody has said that, including Bianchi. The title of the article is "If Urban Meyer stays at Florida, Bear Bryant will become second-greatest coach in Southeastern Conference history." There's still a lot of "ifs" to get through, but this wahoo would rather create a fight that doesn't exist. What do you do when a school is dominating such as UF? If you are a real college football fan, you recognize it and continue tio pull for your school, and hope that they can catch up. Or, you can attack anything and everything about the school, the students, the fans, and the tradition in an effort to shift the focus. What it all likely boils down to is the disappointing finish to the Crimson Tide's season last year. They still can't get over getting sent packing in the SEC title game. Instead of taking care of business and representing the SEC in their bowl game, they go out and get pasted by Utah. I guess this makes for some REAL frustrated fans who come up with some real nonsensical rubbish.

DT .. get enough rope yet? Could you have made yourself look like a bigger fool all on your own? Anyhow, you wallow in the past and deal with you envy the best that you can, which appears to be bloated nonsense on a message board. As I said earlier, it's probably a lot cheaper than therapy. DT – Don’t get yourself all worked up. I guess I should have known that you were more interested in attention than discussing college football. A field goal here, a field goal there and FSU has ‘5’ National Championships.” THEY ARE IN THE SAME DIVISION AND CONFERENCE YOUR BABBOON! Do you even WATCH college football? Should you have even a shred of credibility at this point? If Florida had goofed around as an independent for years and then joined the mediocre-at-best ACC, they would have likely had 10 or more NCs and you know this. Your argument is so completely flawed. And only a true jealous Hator could possibly believe that UF would cower at the opportunity to play Miami Community College. What a solid program. Perhaps when you stop living in the past and get yourself up to date you can hold your own in a real discussion about college football. Until that time, you seem to be stuck in the past. Hey Gratitude, you keep on like the others and dream of another time. It's called deflection and it's one way to deal with your miserable present day. Meyer may not be at Florida forever, but he'll never go to ND. Why would anyone who already has multiple NC's under his belt? We've heard this all before. Just wait until Spurrier is gone. Wow, it's always entertaining to watch all of the jealous Hators on these boards. Declaring that Meyer is the second coming of one of the greatest coaches in the history of game is a little much, especially at this point in his career. However, denying his talent and abilities and/or pretending that his success has nothing more to do than just Tim Tebow is equally as ludicrous. Obviously we've got all of the frustrated Crimson Tide fans here, linked by their hack's column, getting out their little whining excuses for last season's big finish in the SEC Title Game. If that, but this, whatever ... that defense couldn't contain the UF offense and it stunned the obviously overrated (see the outstanding Bama bowl performance) Alabama squad. Trading Saban for Meyer? That's rich. Tebow will go down as one of the greatest college players EVER, but Meyer will most likely create his own legacy at UF and yes, maybe one day, he will even challenge the mighty Bear as the greatest ever. Yes, only 2 Nat. titles., But within 3-years and with 2 different starting QBs. Anyone who thinks that this man cannot recruit is obviously NOT paying attention to the recruiting news!
