Did you see the Test Tubes in the Holiday Catalog on page 53? You get 12 for $5 and they are food safe! I can see lots of possibilities with these for different holidays or occasions! The bottom photo uses also uses the Acetate Card Boxes on page 13. These items are easy to miss, but are so fun to use! I also used the Snowflake Sentiments bundle for the Snowflake test tube holder. The dies in this bundle cut out the tag and the snowflake on the tag. I love the Spooky Night designer series paper for Fall or... Continue reading

This stamp set and this designer series paper work together perfectly, don't you think? The sentiment is "There's a Merry Christmas in the making!" And the inside sentiment is "It's the Best Time of the Year!" When you think of the decorating and the baking or candy making, I just had to put these two products together! This Christmas Around the World designer series paper is also on the list for the Buy 3, Get One Free designer series paper promotion! Woo Hoo! I love FREE! And guess what! Stampin'Up! is releasing new alcohol based markers, Stampin' Blends! So guess... Continue reading

Closed Open Inside It is hard to take a picture when using Window Sheets as part of your card front! The top photo shows that just a narrow strip of Whisper White is along the left side, but the rest of the card front is Window Sheet. My stamping is done on the inside. I also wanted you to see that when you use the Adhesive Sheets on the back of your card stock before die cutting, your die cuts are like stickers and so easy to apply AND the adhesive doesn't show up as messy on the inside of... I had to have this Creep It Real stamp set just for the Brush your Fangs stamp, but there are several other Halloween images in the set you could use. My problem was finding packaging that would work with the plastic "fangs" AND this image because it is a larger stamp. So I decided to try the Box in a Card technique. I am still working on figuring out a "support" because with the eyeball gum balls it is heavier. Note: You will not be able to mail this card in an envelope but it works for the face to... I love making treat favors! All three of these use the 3" x 6" gusseted Cello Bags, and the Spooky Cat bundle which includes the stamp set and the Cat Punch. The regular size Hershey Bar fits perfectly! My dsp for these are cut 2.75" wide and then either 9" or 9.5", and then scored either at 3" or 3.5", depending on which one you are making. You can tweak these measurements to fit whatever you need. The middle bag is 2.75" x 12". I scored at 5" and 7", but then I decided to do a 1/4" fold on... Continue reading

This Instant Birthday Party kit in Stampin'Up!'s new Mini Pizza Boxes is a great surprise birthday party to pull out of your desk drawer when you realize it is your co-worker's birthday! It has a little candle, matches, balloon, chocolate, and a set of 3 x 3 cards with envelopes, so you can have a handy supply on hand! You could use the little tea lights and not have matches if you would rather do that. I have both. I used the Birthday Memories designer series paper if you want to take advantage of the Buy Three, Get One Free... Continue reading

This paper from the Christmas Around the World designer series paper works for this birthday card AND it is one of the papers that you can get in the Buy 3, Get One FREE promotion! I bought this Magical Mermaid stamp set so I could make birthday cards for my granddaughters and this is the 2nd one I have made and given! There is Clear Wink of Stella on the scales, fins, and starfish for a really pretty shimmer! I did fussy cut the mermaids but it isn't too difficult with the Stampin'Up! Paper Snips! Supplies are shown below. Just... Continue reading

Did you miss these in the new Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog? These Acetate Card Boxes are on page 13, ten card boxes for only $6.50. My Kit Kat box uses only half a box so two gifts with just one box! My designer series paper is 4.5" wide and then either 4.5" or 5" high, depending on which gift you are making. The dsp on the Test Tube gift box is 12" x 1.5" and then adhered to another piece of black cardstock, which is under my "Tree dsp square". My card gift set with the High Tide stamp set cards... Love how this turned out! I have a special someone in mind with this card. Starbucks or Coffee gift cards are an easy gift to give, right? My bottom photo shows how I attach my gift card. I used a 1" strip of our Window Sheets, scored and folded to the back and taped down. Then I can just put mini glue dots behind my gift card. You could very easily use other methods of containing your gift card but today, this is what I choose to do. See how I made a Gift Card Holder card out of the... Continue reading

The Screen Divider card or Accordion Fold card is not new but what I am thrilled about is that I used the Best Badge punch to make my decorative "dresser" like bottom! YIAM (Yes I Amaze Myself). The retired Decorative Label punch always worked great for this type of card but I try to use current product. I couldn't decide on a color for my card base. I made one with a Soft Sky base but then decided I liked these two better. One has a Crumb Cake base and the other is Thick Whisper White. I love the new... Continue reading

Love the Fall weather except we are having alternate days of summer and fall. Friday it was 95 degrees. Much too hot! See the Quilt Top Textured Embossing Folder? I ran it through the Big Shot with the Quilted Christmas 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper. I think it is fitting mixing Fall with Christmas when we are having Fall with Summer, don't you! Thank you to Brian King for the idea of using the Detailed Santa die for my swirls! I just snipped off Santa's face and his beard swirls are what you see! I used the Hostess In the City stamp set or the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for my sentiments. The bottom card is a 4 x 4 card. There is Silver or Gold Foil behind my church to give it the look of glowing inside lights or maybe stained glass windows. Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Happy stamping! The Stained Glass Technique is where you stamp and/or emboss on the front of vellum, and then do your coloring on the back. I stamped with Basic Gray on both cards, and then used markers, or watercolor pencils and blender pen for the coloring. The Sugarplum Dreams stamp set is in the new Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog and is a Christmas set with a Nutcracker! Woo Hoo! I used the dancer for a birthday card instead to show you can use this set year round. The swirls on the Christmas card are from the Detailed Santa dies, with the Santa face... Continue reading

I snipped the tails off (so cruel, lol) and then placed them so they curl together. The bottom part of the card is done by using the new Embossing Paste and one the 4 Pattern Party Decorative Masks. The sentiment is from the Special Celebrations stamp set and I love that this set has both the card front and inside sentiments. This inside one says "Side by side together stand, heart to heart, hand in hand, A very special dream comes true beginning with the words, "I do"! How fitting for the side by side cats! I bought this bundle because I was so in love with the Adirondack chair die. I am finally getting around to using it for the different seasons. Isn't this fall card beautiful? I used the new Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing folder for my Chocolate Chip layer. My Stitched Circle is from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack, also from the Color Theory Suite. I think this would make a great sympathy card or a card to let someone know they are in your thoughts. Stampin'Up! supplies are shown below. Don't forget to use the hostess code at the top...
