Pair this cat punch and stamp set with a Christmas sentiment, add a Santa hat, and there you have it! A Cat Christmas Card! Over the past month, I have caught 3 kittens that were strays/wild that have been hanging out along the creek across the highway on another property of ours. Will get them spayed/neutered and then I don't know what I will do with them. I am a cat lover, though! And my 3 long time fur babies passed away this spring, 13, 17, & 20 year old cats! Current Stampin'Up! supplies are below. The Spooky Cat bundle... Continue reading

Creating cards using new product from the upcoming Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog! I love the look of the Horizontal Center Step fold. Click Download HorizontalCenterStepCard for directions from Julie Davison. There is a video link on my post here. Watching this video is very helpful. Thank you, Julie! The dsp on the first card is also new. It is the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, 24 sheets of lightweight paper printed with traditional Christmas carols, in Basic Black and Whisper White. The second card uses the Be Merry Designer Series Paper, page 188 of the annual catalog. The wedding cards... Continue reading

Ribbon of Courage stamp set Lovely Inside & Out stamp set Lovely Inside & Out stamp set without the Camouflage technique I am still experimenting with the Eclipse Lettering Technique or Camouflage Die Cut stamping technique. I still don't know the name of this technique for sure. My bottom sample is shown without the eclipsing and I think I like this one the better of the "friend" cards. The last two cards use the Lovely Words Thinlits Dies for this technique. I really like the top sample that uses the Ribbon of Courage stamp set. Which card do you like... Continue reading

Can you see the "BOO!" I am trying a new technique. Have heard it called Eclipse Lettering and/or Camouflage Die Cut stamping. I die cut my letters (you could use die cuts other than letters). Placed the die cuts back in the cardstock and then do your stamping. Remove the die cuts and place dimensionals behind them. Adhere your layers, then place the die cuts back into place. My card may be a little "busy" but wanted to use several of the stamps in this Spooky Cat stamp set, available September 1st in the upcoming Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog. Supplies are... More sneak peaks from the upcoming Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog! Love the Cat Punch and the coordinating Spooky Cat stamp set which can be bought as a bundle beginning September 1st, saving you 10%. I used the Circle Tab punch to make a "stand" for my moon and cat. Just add Tear & Tape Adhesive to the flaps and the circle. Then add your moon and cat! Easy Peasy! I love making Halloween Treats or Favors! Happy stamping! Continue reading

I have the new Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog and it is AWESOME! Here I used the Creep It Real stamp set which is a set that is not bundled with anything, but I wanted the Brush Your Fangs stamp mainly because a daughter is a dental hygienist and I can use it for her birthday card. Also it will work great for my day care kiddos and their Halloween treats! There is a child's toothbrush and some Pixie Sticks inside a cello bag. The new Cat Punch was my absolute must have from the new catty! I am a cat lover... Continue reading

Love the Daisy Punch and I just had to try it as a skirt, using the idea from others! I used a 1/2" Circle punch with a bite out of it to make a waist band but you can't see it in the photo as I covered it with pearls. These pearls are now retired but there are some new in this year's annual catalog. Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Just click and order. Please use the Hostess Code above if your order is below $150 and help out my current hostess! Product List Beautiful You Wood-Mount Stamp Set [143004] $39.00... Continue reading

Yes, yet another sample made with the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies! This is my first sample I have made that I did not use the coordinating Carols of Christmas stamp set, though! The sentiment is from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and I used a Garden Green marker to get just the Merry Christmas, and omitted the "Wishes" part of the stamp. The banner is from the Number of Years stamp set and the Large Numbers dies. Love the texture from the Holly and the Softly Falling embossing folders. The Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon finishes it off! Which card do... Continue reading

I was asked to show a picture of how I store my Paper Pumpkin leftovers or "not even started" monthly kits. I buy the 6" x 8" cello bag from Stampin'Up! and slide the instruction color brochure into it. Some months I have had to trim about 1/8" off the right side. I put that month's stamp set in the front and then the leftovers behind the instruction sheet. If I haven't even started that month's kit, then I just cut a slit in the top of the packaging, and slide the stamp set inside, and then file the whole... Continue reading

I just had to try a Horizontal Center Step card after a downline, Robin, was having a try at this type of fold. Watch the video here, by Julie Davison, and you will see just how easy it is to do! Robin cased her autumn card but I have been creating lots of samples with the Carols of Christmas bundle, that is an early Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog release, that is available to customers right now to order, so just had to use this bundle on this new to me fold! Just click on the supplies below to order, and don't... This is my first attempt at a Step Pop-Up Card and I think I did pretty good! I used the new Carols of Christmas stamp set and the coordinating Card Front Builder dies that can be purchased this month separately or as a bundle, as an early release from the upcoming Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog! Just click on the supplies below to order. Frenchie (Frances Martin) has a tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers for a Step Pop-Up Card. I tweaked some measurements and used different stamps, dies, and folders, but her tutorial is easy to follow! Product List Carols Of Christmas... Continue reading

This bundle will be in the upcoming Holiday Catalog but is available during the month of August for customers! I have made several cards with this bundle, but here are my latest samples. My very first attempt using Stampin'Up!'s new Embossing Paste! You can color it by adding drops of reinker but I left it white. I used the brick pattern which is one of four of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. You will want the Palette Knives, too, to apply your paste. Supplies are shown below. Use the hostess code on the top post and I will include some mini dimensionals with your card I send for online orders. If your order is at least $150 subtotal, you will receive three $5 coupons to use on your August order (July Bonus Deals) and hostess rewards, and can choose this stamp set if you wish! CCMC465 - Color Inspiration I thought this color challenge is perfect for this stamp set and I don't think I would have used this color combo without seeing this challenge! Stampin'Up! supplies are below! The mermaid scales/fins are so sparkly with the Clear Wink of Stella. I wish you could see how it shimmers but the pics don't do it justice. I used Peek-a-boo Peach for the skin tone, on the scales, and on the starfish! My card base is Tranquil Tide, with layers of Night of Navy and Peek-a-boo Peach. I used a marker to get just the starfish... Continue reading
