I just got the Seasonal Chums bundle and it is a must have! I wish I had gotten it last fall! This will be carried over and will be available to order into May, BUT the bundle savings of 10% will be gone the end of December! I have made several projects with this bundle. The stamps and dies are meant for tags but I am showing you several different ideas, other than tags! Here are some nugget candy holders, a scrapbook page, cards, and even a set of coasters! I cut the snowmen apart so the one is looking... Continue reading

I love the Be Merry designer series paper from the Stampin'Up! annual catalog. I think it coordinates perfectly with the retiring Smitten Mittens bundle. If you are on the fence about purchasing this bundle, do it now so you get the bundled savings and while the items are available! Or if you have the stamp set, the framelits are on sale right now! Just click to order below. Any sale prices will show up in your cart. I used an upcoming new product, the Lots to Love Box framelits dies (available in January) for this super easy box! I wanted... The "to from" is from the Smitten Mittens stamp set and is die cut with the second to smallest Lots of Labels dies. This does not show the notched back, but that is done using the 1" circle punch. The stamp set, Festival of Trees is retired, but you could use other sentiments. I chose this set because it is photopolymer and flexible so that I could curve the words to fit the banner from the Banners for You stamp set. I love photopolymer for that very reason! I used the two largest dies of the Lots of Labels framelits... Continue reading

The Smitten Mittens stamp set and the Many Mittens Framelits Dies are available as a bundle, saving you 10%. They are on page 38 of the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog. My measurements are hard to see but the strips are 1" x 4", scored every inch (you need two), and one strip of 1" x 8.5". You could do 9" strips but I wanted to get the most strips out of one sheet of cardstock. Supplies are shown below. Just click and order. You could do these for different winter occasions. I think I may make some for my day care... Continue reading

These Christmas cards are quick and easy! I didn't use a Big Shot, punch, or embossing folder, but if you want to step it up, there are coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits dies, and embossing folders you could use. I was designing a quick and simple card for my 81 year old aunt to make with her group of ladies for the Veteran's Christmas cards. My strip of designer series paper is 1.5" x 4", so you can get several cuts out of one 12 x 12 sheet. Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Happy stamping! I am honored to be on the Leader 2 Leader group that helped in the design of this new tool! I stamped several images, colored with the now available Stampin' Blends, and then cut and decided my various layouts. I am not a fan of coloring, but I have to admit that this was easy and fun to do with the Stampin' Blends! Stamp Club will be making one of these this week! Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Use the hostess code if your order is below $150. I just returned from OnStage Live in Salt Lake City and got to see new product and the new tool, the Stamparatus which can be reserved for you soon! I will be sharing... Continue reading

One of my Merry Patterns stamp set cards was chosen as a Staff Choice of Stampin'Up! And my surprise gift from them was the Smitten Mittens stamp set! How wonderful was that! Click here to see which card was the Staff Choice! I did not have the coordinating Many Mittens dies yet, so I waited until I could use both the set and dies together. I hadn't used Fresh Fig in awhile so used that and Crumb Cake for my card. The set and the dies have two sizes of mittens. I chose to use the small pair on this... Continue reading

The Birthday Memories designer series paper is on the October Buy 3, Get One Free designer series paper promotion, but you only have 2 more days! You can also use the paper to decorate your envelope flaps, too! These are all latch cards, meaning that the right hand side holds the card front down because it is slid under the popped up image! My card bases are 5.5" x 7.5" or 7.25", scored at 4.25" the long way. The inside layer is 4" x 5.25", with either a 1" or 1.25" x 5.25" strip of dsp. I love this paper... Continue reading

I have been busy creating for swaps for On Stage Live in Salt Lake City next month. I made this for a shoebox swap, but then made another that I like better. I may make extras of this one for just general swapping, though. It is so pretty in real life but hard to take a photo with the window sheet glare. The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set, but while that set has snowflakes, it doesn't have the snowflake dies. The Colorful Seasons bundle can be used for different seasons and is so versatile. It is... Continue reading

Did you see the Test Tubes in the Holiday Catalog on page 53? You get 12 for $5 and they are food safe! I can see lots of possibilities with these for different holidays or occasions! The bottom photo uses also uses the Acetate Card Boxes on page 13. These items are easy to miss, but are so fun to use! I also used the Snowflake Sentiments bundle for the Snowflake test tube holder. The dies in this bundle cut out the tag and the snowflake on the tag. I love the Spooky Night designer series paper for Fall or... Continue reading

This stamp set and this designer series paper work together perfectly, don't you think? The sentiment is "There's a Merry Christmas in the making!" And the inside sentiment is "It's the Best Time of the Year!" When you think of the decorating and the baking or candy making, I just had to put these two products together! This Christmas Around the World designer series paper is also on the list for the Buy 3, Get One Free designer series paper promotion! Woo Hoo! I love FREE! And guess what! Stampin'Up! is releasing new alcohol based markers, Stampin' Blends! So guess... Continue reading

Closed Open Inside It is hard to take a picture when using Window Sheets as part of your card front! The top photo shows that just a narrow strip of Whisper White is along the left side, but the rest of the card front is Window Sheet. My stamping is done on the inside. I also wanted you to see that when you use the Adhesive Sheets on the back of your card stock before die cutting, your die cuts are like stickers and so easy to apply AND the adhesive doesn't show up as messy on the inside of... I had to have this Creep It Real stamp set just for the Brush your Fangs stamp, but there are several other Halloween images in the set you could use. My problem was finding packaging that would work with the plastic "fangs" AND this image because it is a larger stamp. So I decided to try the Box in a Card technique. I am still working on figuring out a "support" because with the eyeball gum balls it is heavier. Note: You will not be able to mail this card in an envelope but it works for the face to... I love making treat favors! All three of these use the 3" x 6" gusseted Cello Bags, and the Spooky Cat bundle which includes the stamp set and the Cat Punch. The regular size Hershey Bar fits perfectly! My dsp for these are cut 2.75" wide and then either 9" or 9.5", and then scored either at 3" or 3.5", depending on which one you are making. You can tweak these measurements to fit whatever you need. The middle bag is 2.75" x 12". I scored at 5" and 7", but then I decided to do a 1/4" fold on... Continue reading

This Instant Birthday Party kit in Stampin'Up!'s new Mini Pizza Boxes is a great surprise birthday party to pull out of your desk drawer when you realize it is your co-worker's birthday! It has a little candle, matches, balloon, chocolate, and a set of 3 x 3 cards with envelopes, so you can have a handy supply on hand! You could use the little tea lights and not have matches if you would rather do that. I have both. I used the Birthday Memories designer series paper if you want to take advantage of the Buy Three, Get One Free... Continue reading

This paper from the Christmas Around the World designer series paper works for this birthday card AND it is one of the papers that you can get in the Buy 3, Get One FREE promotion! I bought this Magical Mermaid stamp set so I could make birthday cards for my granddaughters and this is the 2nd one I have made and given! There is Clear Wink of Stella on the scales, fins, and starfish for a really pretty shimmer! I did fussy cut the mermaids but it isn't too difficult with the Stampin'Up! Paper Snips!
