For those that have faith in the Front Office to make the right decision you have to keep in mind our owner is Stephen "Orange Carpet" Ross. Filling seats THIS year with Manning is more important to him than winning long-term. Then again, to those that keep talking about drafting a QB in the 2nd round to groom, when is the last time a 2nd rd QB has gone on to be great (Brees? 1996!) As last year showed, QB's don't fall to the second round unless they have a MAJOR flaw; whether it be physically or a character flaw (yes, I am talking to YOU Ryan Mallett)

Gates... We think he can return kicks and punts but can he block people to stop them from blocking our kicks?

Went back and read the blog.... the only thing you like about Devlin is his release. You think he is immature and question his character. (Not saying you shouldn't but then say you liked him?)

Lee Smith TE for the pats?! How many TEs can one team fit on a roster?!

Pat Devlin in the 6th? Groom him as the 3rd QB.

Swamy, Cage the Wildcat because, if you don't, the NFL will shoot it because it is DEAD!

Think they will let him go for nothing? Can I have some of whatever you are drinking?

Release him? He is a FA who was tagged by Carolina with a 'Restricted Free Agent" designation.

Guess everybody thinks I am crazy because I got no feedback on my suggestion. Oh well! Wouldn't be the first time! lol

finatic, We only get Williams if there is a new CBA. Otherwise (ie 2010 rules apply) he is a restricted FA and Miami will not/should not give up a high pick for him.

Breed, Turn off the 'CAPS LOCK'! lol

DyingBreed, Two patterns are enough for me if it means 7 in the box and an opposing OC has to spend time game-planning for him.
