Oh, dang, my mistake. For what it's worth, I thought Zach's was good, too, though I'll definitely have to start following Old Hoss Radbourn on twitter. That's some good baseball comedy right there. Also, thanks for the kind words. It's cool that people are still stopping by even after the whole firestorm. Hopefully Mike and I find time to post again soon; I know we've both had posts on the brain with just not a lot of time. Keep an eye out, though.

Hey, just wanted to quick stop in to say that I'm still here, just a bit busy. New posts are being worked out, I'm not disappearing, tail between my legs, etc. Honestly, the few folks that are stopping by regularly are probably better served by Mike's quality work anyway, so... Continue reading

Within the past weekend, this blog’s seen the most traffic it’s seen in any single month or year of its short existence. 1,000 plus visitors came by, which might not seem like too much until you consider that we had all of, oh, 2 unique visitors the Thursday before my... Continue reading

Hi all, So that happened. I just wanted to briefly address the unprecedented response (for us, anyway) the last post has garnered. I'll be fully responding in a larger post sooner or later, though I'd imagine some of the folks most offended by my writing won't be sticking around to... Continue reading

Hello everyone who hates us! I cannot respond in full right now, but thanks for stopping by (you too, Zach Weiner! Hi? I really like your early work?) A few notes: I am not a troll; I'm kinda dumb in some ways, but probably not in writing; I'm not butthurt, nor do I define myself by my major; SMBC is not read by billions of people; and I'll respond to everyone promise. We Love Pain, KirbyDots PS -- Wasn't "learn stuff, think, write comics about it" Erasmus' general plan for education? Maybe I'm off on that?
Sometimes, I find it hard to write. Based on my current updating timetable, this should come as no surprise; still, my procrastinations and fits of laziness have different characters, depending on the subject. Sometimes I can’t write because, honestly, I’m too lazy – I can’t think of what to write,... Continue reading

I, like so many other people, was introduced to Roger Ebert’s newest diatribe against video games and the admittedly tenuous claim that said video games are art. Now, while this may not endear me to my audience, I have to admit that I am a bit sympathetic to Ebert’s ostensible... Continue reading

In addition to being a comic book fan, I like to think of myself as a pretty big baseball fan, too. Being a Phillies fan (non-bandwagon; born in Philadelphia, so calm down), I tend to prefer the National League, or the senior circuit. Sure, there’s something a bit silly about... Continue reading
