This is very good advice for anyone who is looking for gainful employment today in this marketplace. I have often said that jobs that existed 10 years ago don't exist today, jobs that exist today didn't exist 10 years ago, and there will be jobs in the future that haven't been invented yet. Unless we improve our education and skills to meet the demands of today's workplace the United States will be left behind as Third World countries improve the education of their residents so they can take the jobs available and fill this need. When Pres. Obama talks about employment, he is looking backwards to past methods to have jobs created in today's workplace, instead of looking for wood and implementing new ideas.
