I'm not an attorney and my legal knowledge is very limited however, I have always thought Mr. Sheaffer's commentaries on Casey Anthony's case to be informative, insightful and a learning experience if you will. In my opinion, Kathi Belich has probably devoted more time to this case than any other reporters and I like her style. The defense can throw Mr. Kronk under the bus all they like. Bottom line, Casey is guilty of killing her daughter and if she had any help at all it was from her family. JMO
Casey Anthony: WESH analyst blasts WFTV commentator, reporter
HAL'S NOTE: Bill Sheaffer responded to Richard Hornsby's comments. I have posted Sheaffer's statement at http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2009/11/casey-anthony-wftvs-bill-sheaffer-says-i-strive-to-consistently-deliver-sound-legal-analysis-.html Here's the original blog po...
Was Kronk being deposed by the state's attorney OR Casey Anthony's attorney?
HAL'S NOTE: By Anthony's defense team.
Casey Anthony: Roy Kronk quiet, cool on way to deposition
Roy Kronk was a major story at noon today. Wearing sunglasses and saying nothing, Kronk showed up this morning for a deposition in the Casey Anthony case. He is the former meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains in December. Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder of her daught...
Poor baby Caylee. When will they all let her rest in peace.
Casey Anthony: Case will be part of '48 Hours Mystery' fall season
CBS' "48 Hours Mystery" will examine the Casey Anthony case in a fall episode. A Web site promo for the program shows Cindy Anthony, Casey's mom. An announcer says, "The case that riveted the country. Her granddaughter dead. Her own daughter accused. Now Casey Anthony's parents are fighting to s...
Nancy Grace does tell it like it is. She doesn't sugar coat her words and how she comes across on TV is her persona. Crystal Sheffield seems to have no clue of Haleigh's schedule and certainly was unaware of the goings on in the Cummings household. I'd be willing to bet she's afraid, and maybe rightly so of Ronald Cummings, but that shouldn't have stopped her from making her daughter and son's welfare her first priority.
Haleigh Cummings: Nancy Grace takes up saga on Monday
Want to know more about the story of missing Haleigh Cummings? HLN's Nancy Grace will explore the case at 8 and 10 p.m. Monday. The program is a combination of new and old material, an HLN spokeswoman said. Grace's Web page offers this preview: "What happened to the missing 5-year-old tot, abduc...
I believe the ONE person who has the piece to this puzzle is Misty Cummings. Haleigh may have awoke to find Misty gone or with someone and to keep the little girl from telling, she probably disposed of Haleigh herself. Wouldn't put it past her. I hope LE interviews her again and this time, break her down. The truth will set Misty free and Haleigh needs to be found.
Haleigh Cummings: Family, stations call attention to 6th birthday
Haleigh Cummings' 6th birthday is today, and local television stations in noon newscasts highlighted the family's pleas to help find the missing girl. WKMG-Channel 6 played part of a news conference attended by Haleigh's father, grandmother and Orlando attorney Mark NeJame. "We don't care about ...
All the named reporters are to be commended for their tireless and tenacious coverage. But let's not forget Jessica D'onofrio, she too carried the story. To all, hats off for a job well done!
Casey Anthony: What the reporters have to say about the story -- WFTV's Kathi Belich cites 'concern people have for Caylee'
I hear from many of you regularly about the Casey Anthony story and the latest developments. But what has struck the reporters who have covered the Anthony saga? I asked a few who have been on the Anthony beat for nearly a year. Kathi Belich, WFTV-Channel 9: "What strikes me most about covering ...
