I once purchased a ceramic vase on ebay for only £8. It arrived cracked! I sent it back, of course, but it took them ages to replace it. Since then, I've never shopped with them again. I've been doing my online shopping on amazon.co.uk for the last 3 years and have never regretted it.

A professor once told me that if you go into psychology because you just want to help people, you'll make a terrible psychologist. I agree. To really be satisfied in psychology, you need to be able to step back and take joy in learning how people work and using empirically sound therapies and techniques. You also need to be actually pretty cold-hearted - you need to empathize without sympathizing because if you feel right along with your clients, you'll be too messed up yourself to do them any good.

I don't go out very often but I occasionally enjoy watching a good play at Covent Garden. You're right, Anastasia. The chinese restaurant in Baker Street is called Royal China. It's probably the best chinese restaurant in London. I've been there a few times and really loved it!
