Wil, I have to tell you... this show series has been really awesome for me. I've always wanted to really get into the tabletop games, but I really didn't want to have to be thrown in with experienced players and struggle to learn and keep up during play. Being able to sit at home, watch these and get a better understanding for the games and how to play them, without having to feel like such a newb, has been amazingly helpful! I'm totally excited to get some of these games and start playing them now! I just need to find some friends that are actually in the Phoenix area now. *Maybe* I won't be too shy to get into a game with you at a con somewhere now even. ;) Also, I love seeing Anne more! Even if/when she is destroying boards... she's still totally adorable!

We are getting carpet replaced in our office, so we had to move out all the furniture. I didn't realize that my cats were such dice hoarders, but apparently they are trying to be in the running with you for biggest dice collection. I think fuzzy dice still count when it's just cat fur fuzzy right?

This is fabulous! I can't wait to see it. =) Btw, what ever happened to the behind the scenes live streaming video idea? Just curious. They sounded like fun!

I recently stumbled upon the Bloggess, and I haven't laughed so hard for a long time! I have some of the same struggles that she does as far as anxiety and such, so it's amazing to see what all she can accomplish, and that she can still be an inspiration to so many others. She's amazing for sure! I totally made my husband watch this video, so perhaps he will be a bit more tolerant of my random craziness, silliness, and spontaneous situations that I get myself (and him) into. It may be working... but I think I should find a giant chicken just to be sure...

Wil, thank you so much for posting this! My mom has CD, and it's been a pretty interesting few years since she found out and changed how she eats. There really is not enough people out there that are aware and informed. That's been proven a lot of times, especially when we take her out to eat and she tells the server that she can't have anything with any form of wheat in it, and they tell her "that's fine, we have white bread too!", or they roll their eyes at her when she has to send back a salad because they put croutons on it... or any one of a far too high number of incidents that I have seen. I know how many readers you have, and I for one am so grateful that you are putting this here for that number of people to see and read and become more aware of CD and everything that comes with it. Kudos to you!! Thanks from me and the most awesome, important woman in my life!

"She can’t eat out at a restaurant again for the rest of her life." Umm what? Yes she can! There are a TON of places now that have completely GF menus, and it's not hard to find them. Most are listed on their websites, some you have to ask for... but it's not anywhere near impossible to go out to eat.

I am traveling for the holidays starting tomorrow... so my flight will be taking me farther away from my copy of the book that is on it's way here. I should have had it shipped to my future in-laws house! Now I must suffer a weeks wait to be able to enjoy my Christmas gift to myself. Darn family stuff anyway... *grumble grumble* ;) Oh hey, Merry Christmas!

That is sometimes the best part of road trips! It's amazing what you can find out there. I'm glad you and Anne got to get away for a few days! I know what it's like to have an amazing guy that has to be away for work, and those weekends/days that you both get to sneak away are amazing, and important.

I find it amusing/endearing that you still ask to gauge interest for anything you are considering producing... Umm, yes! DO WANT! =) After all, you signed all my books last time I saw you, so I need something new for you to sign at the next event I'm lucky enough to see you at again! Ha!

I can't wait for Rock Band revisited! Too awesome that I got to be there for the first, and now second! Wow, I would love to make one of these at some point, but they're a bit too far for me so far. Any chance for one in Phoenix anytime? =D At least I get to see you again for Phx Comicon! Been registered for that for months and now it's almost here! Now I can get all nerd nervous and say more dumb things to you. Haha! (I apologize ahead of time, because I know there's no real stopping it, sorry!) Oh, and it's extremely awesome that your parents got to see you... there's no way they couldn't be proud of all the amazing things you do.

Oh gosh... BS2 showed up at my house today, and I've been eying it for a few hours. I'm struggling between really wanting to get things done that I need to today, or starting to play it and ending up in an all day/night marathon play session. The ultimate goal is to hold off until Monday (maybe Sunday?), since I'm not sure my guy would appreciate me not even looking away from the screen when he gets home today from being gone on business for the last week. LOL! I can resist... I really can... I swear I can... I'm just going to open it to look at how shiny the disk is... that's all... ah crap.

My guy and I will probably be staying in too, but not sure we'll get any kids here. Our game of choice is WoW though. I guess we're not quite old yet. ;)

That really does sound good... although for some reason now I just want tomato soup and grilled cheese. Mmmm! My roasted pumpkin seeds last night were my traditional HARVEST foods.

I'm seriously considering heading to this con for my birthday weekend. Any chance of an early release signed copy for my birthday? I'll show you my ID! Ha! Actually even if I just get to see you, that would make it the best birthday evers by far. Tucson is less than 2 hours from here, so I'm pretty sure RinCon has now made it into the epic bday weekend plans.

I don't have a whole lot, but I can pack a lunch a few more days the next couple weeks, and go without a few sodas or coffee. I'm in for more than a little bit of change. ;) I'm sure a lot of other people will be too. Ferris was a bit like family to some of us that got to read great stories about a wonderful friend over the years too.
