I had a similar reaction when I saw Joss in person. The really sad part is I forgot my camera, and was actually wearing my "Joss Whedon is my master now" T-shirt. Talk about missed opportunities! And for anyone who hasn't already seen the stripper-pole bus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsbDse-2YIU

Maybe that's why you don't have a regular gig -- Seth doesn't want to cause your untimely death! ;)

I love hearing about things like this, especially if they're railroad-related. I'm definitely going to have to hike this trail sometime in the future. (After I shed a few pounds, so I don't have a heart attack.)

That night was so amazingly awesome! You definitely need to make this a part of your future con appearances. My only regret is that I didn't let my hair loose. :) -- Lead Guitar, "Eye of the Tiger"

LEGO Star Wars 2 is thoroughly fun and entertaining all the way through. Let me know how long it takes you to destroy the Death Star in Episode VI. ;) I'm impatiently awaiting the release of LEGO Indiana Jones this summer.

Ah, yes. I've found The Force very useful at past conventions. Speaking of conventions, I think you should try to make it out to WillyCon one of these years. ;)

I've never really listened to audiobooks -- I don't normally spend that much time in the car, and when I take long driving trips I'd rather be listening to music. Sounds like an interesting collection, though. And, I'm 37 and I've never seen any of the Godfather movies.

Wil - it was wonderful to finally meet you on Friday. Your reading Thursday night hit every mark perfectly. Sadly, Creation probably wil(l) never learn. Though it could have been worse -- for Scarlett Pomers (Naomi Wildman on Voyager) they had a different actress' photo on the banners. I think both of those mistakes show a great lack of respect.

Very nice article! I don't go off the grid as much as I used to, but that's mainly because most of my friends are online, and I have no other way to talk to them. There was a great episode of The Outer Limits (1995 version) dealing with our overdependence on technology: "Stream of Consciousness" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0667957/ Unfortunately it isn't one of the episodes they released on DVD, so I don't know if it's possible to find a copy.

You know those weird people who've never seen "Star Wars"? I've never listened to Dark Side of the Moon. One of these days I need to correct that gaping hole in my musical experience.

Fantastic news, Wil! I had already made plans to attend, and was hoping you might be there. Can't wait to see you performing again. And I'm definitely in for the meetup, even though I don't play poker. It'd be cool to watch, though.

I'm in the other part of the country. Phoenix. 65 degrees. No earthquakes or mudslides. :) Too bad I'm stuck inside all day instead of outside enjoying it.

That's definitely a comprehensive bio. They would be fools not to hire you! Just a couple of comments: "...writes reviews of classic Star Trek: The Next Generation reviews for TVSquad.com,..." One too many "reviews" in that sentence, unless you're actually reviewing reviews. ;) "Most recently he was seen on CSI last season." Sounds icky. How about: Most recently he appeared on the hit television show CSI.
