I have a spectacular photo of the cathedral from the town in Russia that we adopted our daughter from. I'd love to be able to have this hanging up as a visual homage to this part of her heritage.

I mostly started scrapbooking to have something to do with the reams of photos I take. 10 years in the passing and now I find that I scrapbook more because I want to share the stories and the "why's" behind the photos. Fortunately, I never had the mindset that I'd scrap every photo I take, since my digital catalog is 40K+. I do find that I'm more picky about what I will put the time & effort into scrapping.

So glad you & your families are healing after Eric's passing. A friend pointed me in the direction of your blog back in January, as my grandmother died on the same day as Eric. My friend realized we had that and scrapbooking in common and I've enjoyed checking in on you ever since. Congrats on Ethan's 2nd birthday -- it's amazing how quickly they grow!
