nice post. It is sometimes so hard to remember to just breathe and not to push too hard!
Comfort and Strength
As a yoga blogger, you just never know where you'll get inspiration for your next post. This one comes from Christmas music, which seems to be cropping up everywhere these days. Comfort and joy. Yoga's version of comfort and joy is Sthira and Sukha. The concept here is a balance of opposites -- ...
I definitely need more movement! Also, I received the shirt, thanks so much, it's lovely!

Movement
My first introduction to yoga well over 12 years ago was a slow, mindful practice. I looked forward to doing the practice each morning, but when I found a yoga flow about a year later, I was hooked. It was the movement that drew me in. Something about the continual flow, feeling the fluidity of ...
thank you for this. For some reason I have never thought about how I might alter my practice when I wasn't feeling so hot!
Take a Moment
The past four or so months have flown by in a whirlwind of change, chance happenings, and surprises. I'm certainly not complaining, but the pace and the depth of what's been happening has me often saying, " Ijust need a minute." A minute for what, you might ask. A minute to slow down, to take it...

What a wonderful idea. I am a relative newcomer to Yoga and have been overwhelmed by the feelings it is creating in me! I not only practice every day (even if it's only for 20 minutes) but feel as though my day is incomplete without it. The changes in my spiritual and physical health are truly noticeable.
What do I need to know right now? That this new path I have chosen is the right one and that I am becoming more fulfilled every day by remaining on this path.
Thank you so much,

Celebrating Awareness with a Giveaway
The word awareness is often used in conjunction with yoga and/or meditation. This idea of cultivating awareness seems simple, right? Becoming aware can be boiled down to slowing down and noticing what's happening in the moment. When you look at the society we live in, you can easily understand h...
