I'd like to hear about your Eureka experiences.

I haven't homebrewed for a decade, but dude, you need to start collecting Grolsch bottles. 1) Capping is easy - just swing the ceramic top back on 2) 16oz bottles mean fewer to clean, less bottles to fille 3) 16oz bottles mean more for you when you're drinking them!

The pesterment there *does* give me a little flavor of how annoying Tier-1 celebrity must be, as I said.

I jet-skied with one of them at Half Moon Cay (not sure which, didn't know who they were at the time). Seemed nice, he liked my nerd shirt :) The jet-skiing was an enormous amount of fun, by the way, as was the cruise of course (except for those vendors in Ocho Rios).

There was hardly a line at my precinct at 9:45am. I was the 251st voter, so they were busy earlier in the day. Walking to the polling place, I saw 17 Obama signs, and 0 McCain signs - but that's Ann Arbor for you. We have mark-sense ballots. Makes so much sense - computer tabulation, paper trail, and many people can be marking their ballots at the same time.

I've been to Oban (before that health food store, I think). It's a lovely place - Victorian seaside resort. I've also had the scotch, and that's like a day at the seaside!

The effects didn't seem all that cheesy at the time (and they compared favorably with "Lost in Space". Remember this was before 2001 and before Star Wars.

Wil (and others): You want to get the audiobook "The Witches of Chiswick", read by the author, Robert Rankin. Trust me.

I'd never heard of Pink Floyd until I was a college freshmen (though I remember being puzzled by a graffiti on a high school locker 'Pink Floyd Meddles'), listening to Dark Side in the dorm. It became tradition for my circle of friends to play that album first whenever setting up a stereo system.
