The horrible image is available all over the Web -- it tends to stay with you, don't it? As for you -- due to the minimalist brilliance of your screen name and your avatar photo, you get a pass. I picked on Gawker because I could, but people live-blogging on Twitter or Tumblr are actually far more obnoxious. It just would have made an already-long entry written under the influence of cough syrup and peyote that much longer to delve into those things.
