He went to Oak Park River Forest for his Freshman year. Look it up. I wouldn't lie about my hometown bro, lol.

Luda did live in Champaign, but he moved to Chicagoland area. He went to Oak Park River Forest HighSchool. OakPark is a western suburb of Chicago.

Uh.. I don't see why people hate Lupe so much. I fuck with him. I must admit that his complaining about this album is getting annoying, but his music is still great.

I'm not choosing Ross or Jeezy's side because I fuck with both of em. But.. Here's the truth about their sales.. Ross: Port of Miami-800K Trilla-800K Deeper than Rap-450K Teflon Don - 461K+(To be honest it's been selling 9 to 10 K per week consistantly, so it'll go gold) Jeezy: Thug Motivation 101: 2M 102: 1M The Recession: 985K So, no.. Only one Ross album will end up selling less than 500K. And.. Jeezy sold far more than 370K with The Recession

Singles sell way more than albums... And, he's not off of SoundScan.. Just out of the top 50. And with all the low selling releases from this week, he may be back in next week. But even if he doesn't, he'll still make gold... Eventually.

First, let me say that this EP (Not a full album) was released only in iTunes and Amazon. Digital sales only. Now, mind you that Digital album sales aren't big at all. People automatically assume that digital singles sell well that digital albums sell well, too. No, that's not the case. Every person would rather buy one song they like than a whole album. Unless, the album is amazing. And just to show you how small digital sales are compared to physical sales, let's bring up C3. We all know C3 did A Milli in the first week. But ONLY 200K of those were digital. A week before him Coldplay sold about 700K. And even though they have the highest selling digital album ever, out of that first week only 250K were sold digitally. Maybe I should bring up something more recent.. 50 Cent's BISD. His iTunes sales after 3 weeks combined was about 50K. (Remember he got to add that to the physical release in the physicals release first week) To that total of 161K. See a pattern? Digital sales only make up 20-30% of the full album's sales. I'm not saying that Wayne would have don't another Milli, but what I'm saying is with Physical sales, he probably could have sold anywhere between 350-500K first week. We'll just have to wait until he releases it physically.

I think that Eminem and Jay-Z should come like a packaged deal. I personally think Hova is better, but I don't complain if I see on someone's list that Eminem is number one and Jay-Z is number two. I feel that if Jay-Z was number 47 then Eminem should have been at least number 50. I just hate when people dickride one artist so much where they down another artist that's actually on the same level with the artist they love. "Man! Jay ain't did shit! Eminem is the man!" Those type of people piss me off.

Every album has digital sales counted into it's weekly totals.. So, no he'll be just now going platinum with digital and physical sales all included.

You're almost right. So close that I even want to agree with you but I can't. You said it yourself. Blacks, whites, Asians, all find him interesting. Whites are the biggest consumers because of their big population. There are 5x more whites in America than Blacks and mexicans combined. So when whites see that another white interesting guy can rap just as good as any other black guy, they'll by his album. Asher Roth sold 300K. BUT. When they see a white guy can rap BETTER than most black guys, they'll buy a shitload of his albums. Eminem is a great artist and one of the best alive, but he gets his sales from the fact that whites buy albums more than blacks do, and the fact that there are way more whites than any other race.

Well, I think that he's talking about this generation. And IF he's only talking about this generation he has a point. Like.. The last ten years or so. I wouldn't include Face, Bun B, 3 stacks, and Big Boi in that statement. So, in my opinion his only contenders are Luda and Wayne. They're the only CLOSE contenders. Then there's Jeezy. But then after that.. Who else are out there? Soulja Boy? Waka? Rocko? Shawty Lo? I just think Luda's a bit better if you take everything into consideration.

The Black Eyed Peas keep selling because they keep putting out popular singles.. Boom Boom Pow, Got A Feelin, and Imma Be all went number 1 on the Hot 100. Meet Me Halfway and Rock That Body went top ten. Plus, it's not like they haven't sold that many albums before. If I recall about 4 years ago, Fergie sold 4 milli. But, anyway.. They're fighting through the failing music industry. People don't think it's falling apart.. It is. Wayne went from over 3.5 mill to 630K. Rihanna went from 3 mill to Just under 1. 50 went from 1.4 mill to 450K.. Even other genres.. Leona Lewis (Pop Singer) went from 2 mill to not even 200K. Or even that Hannah Montana bitch flopping. I never thought I'd see the day that happens. It's looking ugly in the future sales wise.

Honestly, I could see if this was a list of top 5 current rappers.. But of all time?! Hell no. Kanye and Wayne aren't even top 15 or 20 in my opinion. There's tons of names before them. Hov, Em, KRS, Rakim, Kane, Talib, Common, Pac, Biggie, Big L, Big Pun, Scarface, Method & Redman. ETC.

BISD and TD. Almost all albums drop 55-62% in their second sales week. Ross dropped about 63%. it's true Ross went from 176K to 39K in 3 weeks.. But.. 50 also went from 161K to 29K in 3 weeks. Big difference? Not at all.

Ross's consistant portfolio to 50's very inconsistanf portfolio?

Well, when people blindly state that 50 went "gold".. The RIAA certified him because he's sold 450K and he will EVENTUALLY sell 500K. 50 1st week - 161K. After 2 weeks - 226K After 3 weeks - 255K. Hm.. Ross 1st week - 177K. Ross after 2 weeks - 240K. After 3 weeks - 279K.

Ross's Port of Miami pushed 750K. Trilla pushed 800K.

I hate when people say that BISD is gold, it's been certified gold because it will EVENTUALLY sell 500K. As of right now it's sitting on 447K. So whenever it passes 500K is when it is officially gold. I'm not a 50 hater, I just want the facts to be stated. Sales wise.. This is how it will go TM103>TD>BISD>DTR

I agree with a lot of what you just said except the last parts. Drake shouldn't point out that someone is doing it wrong, (The punchline style) if his was wack in the first place. I understand that he felt Luda stole his flow, but I'd be happy if Luda used my flow. Luda has been in it for what.. 11 years? This is Drake's first go around and he's already into it with established names over something he didn't really originate? Come on now. I admit I liked Drake at first, but he's really become a bitch. How can he come at Luda for using it, but not his own labelmate NICKI MINAJ? When her version of it was the wackest and lamest by far! "It's goin down, Basement?!" Wtf is that bro? These type of punchlines have actually been out for years. Go on YouTube and look up Stop Pause Punchlines. So I don't think you can just say one person originated it. In conclusion, a lot of people have used it and Drake should be happy. Luda probably used it because that whole album was for commercial successs.

Every album includes iTunes sales. It's just 50 cheated and found a way to use 3-4 weeks of iTunes sales included in his first week.

I'm in the Chi too. And, about the hits thing. He's had 4. Best I Ever Had, Successful, Forever, and Over. Plus, he's had Find Your Love and Miss Me which had moderate success. Even though, Miss Me wasn't as big as it should have been. Everything else you said was true though. I used to like him, but he fell off to me.
