Wil, this sounds delicious. I love asparagus and typically always do it this way: snap off ends, place in a single layer on a jelly roll pan, drizzle with olive oil, toss to coat, generously sprinkle with lemon pepper, roast at 400 F until brown crispy deliciousness forms. Eat. See for pictures.
